Minebros, what are we mining after ETH?

I guess we can choose between ETC, RVN, ERGO and BEAM.

>> No.51141693

>>51141651
I have a feeling RVN will be the winner, ETC will get become really unprofitiable because of those stupidly efficient new miners that iPollo company is releasing, fucking with GPU Miners profitiability a lot.

>> No.51141716

>>51141693
I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read anything about RVN, ERGO or BEAM.
Do any of those coins even have any future?

>> No.51141800

>>51141716
RVN has the biggest mining community, is unlikely for it to fail but one never knows

As for ERGO iss just another ETH 3.0 like Cardano and Polkadot, just mineable instead, I can only see it mooning if the SEC declares PoS coins a security, BEAM I don't know much about.

I just went back to ETC. All the same tuning, pools, exchanges. Nearly the same payout right now.

>>51141800
Hmm I guess I can try with RVN for a while, tnx.

Also, do you guys planning to mine eth until the last day or you're switching earlier?

This doesn't look efficient at all.

The efficiency is nice, but it's only marginally better value then mining on a gpu, and of course 0 resale value once new hw on a better process is available. The latest gpu will always be ahead on node.

200MH at 130W is 3x better than a 3060ti doing 60MH at 125W, those things are 3x more efficient than normal GPUS's in general, granted the price are stupid high, but they match their GPU counter part, 3x 3060ti would end up being close to 1400$ too.

I honestly just rather see a GPU exclusive coin to win, less centralization and the commun folk can mine it, that's always a plus for adoption.

>>51141843
mine other coins till the end for more profits, probably turn off GPU's for a couple months, if no coin turns profitiable in 6 months I sell my GPU's on the cheap side.

>granted the price are stupid high
You can't ignore that. It would take years before the higher power efficiency offsets that and by then a newer gpu will outperform it.

ETC with the Ipollo Mini ive bought
And on my rig ERGO
Not shutting anything down ever
Not reselling my 3060ti's

I mine anything that can still be mined except BTC. The price of those altcoins will massively go up. Also, there will be a ETH offshot.

I like rvn because it didn’t have a premine

So I've been trying to mine RVN but my hashrate seems kinda low.
Only ~8 MH/s per GPU.
I got four ATI RX 580 8GB.

Check if you enabled compute mode for your gpus
What miner are you using ? TRM ?

Yes, I'm using NBM

Try Team Red Miner desu, I had a lot of problems with AMD cards with other miners.
Could also be your OC settings, KawPow algo is a lot more intensive on GPUs

Do you use the newest ATI drivers or some special mining drivers?

>> No.51143837

>>51143658
Never did anything fancy with drivers. Only time I had to tweak a driver was with my 3060ti's to bypass lhr
What were you mining before with your rx580 rig ?

ETH only, thanks for infos.

RVN's circulating supply is ridiculous. I'm going with ETC. Never even heard of those other two shitcoins.
