Rising energy prices demand more efficient cryptocurrencies.
In my opinion, a mining ban in the EU is inevitable apart from that, the use of mining equipment is no longer profitable in the future due to rising electricity prices.

The situation shows us that in times of inflation and a fast changing world we have to be flexible to ensure our financial freedom.

Are there trusted protocols that have a future in times like these?
if yes, it's probably a good time to switch now

we're going to a trillion euros per Kwh, aren't we

Retard. You don't need to ban crypto because at this prices it's just a loss. No one is mining PoW.

Not that it matters that much, but you can’t judge a parabolic move with Al Gore’s linear chart.
Use log so we can see the historic movement.

Has anybody computed what the pure mining costs of a bitcoin would be with $1000/MWh?

IOTA is the most energy efficient crypto by far (even compared to regular PoS). Just one more drop in the bucket, EU is already interested

Dude IOTA is EUs favorite child. Check EBSI, Sussee, CityXChange, Projekt Alfried etc.

Big releases incoming soon, normies didn't buy yet.

Euro bro’s in hindsight I don’t think it was wise to declare economic war against a global thermonuclear superpower who was providing us with 99.9998% of all our natural ressources at below market price.

While you're completely right. You forget that the EU is a retarded conglomerate of big business and liberal oligarchs bent on crushing competition, innovation and individual liberty.

>demand more efficient cryptocurrencies.

Literally nobody in the world demands cryptocurrencies except money launderers and drug cartels, who don't give a single fuck about fees.

Have you seen the video about the EBSI project I found?
Apparently the EU is interested in a system that digitizes everything (health data, your bank account, personal data, etc. check the pic)
They call it Digital Identity, all in one app.
They would need a system with no fees and as far as I know Iota has none.
I just found this on the WEF homepage.
Will take a closer look, sounds exciting.
