greece was a convenient country to dump failing trash loans into in the middle of an economic crisis to save the big players. germonkeys are too big to fail. that's all there is to it. read yanis varoufakis for more information

Bumping against the flood of shitcoin spam.

Does no one here see an opportunity in shorting EU stocks given their profits will be eroded by the higher energy prices in the short term?

it will be a nothingburger. what /pol/ chuds aren't able to comprehend is that many industrial processes are going to become unprofitable, freeing up a ton of gas capacities. nobody will be freezing or have black/brown outs.

I think there are some german based companies that are selling at deep discounts, others are overvalued trash (like the car industry as a whole, I am entirely opposed to, even if they sell for like 3-7 P/E)
German logistics and (re-)insurance are great companies and wont be affected much.

the only reason german insurance companies are doing well is because boomers and babyboomers are still overinsured. they're paying up to 1000€ per month and think its necessary. millenials and zoomers are financially fucked and wont pay much for insurance, stick to public healthcare or get the most basic contract at a private insurance company.

The Mittelstand (small/mid size familiy businesses) is breaking away at the most rapid rate since the end of WW2 so there will be a lot of insurance contracts get canceled.

once the boomers and babyboomes die, insurance in germany is over.
