they are not interested in robbing the gigabrain, they number too few. they are as the shinobi and remain for the most part hidden. the brainlet is of no concern for the most part they will be the cause of their own downfall. their target and prey is the midwit trader, they cast a wide net and catch as many as they can. the trick is to swim alongside the trawler, underneath the vessel. the net is cast and you can see where it lands. you feed upon the rotting corpses of your slain brethren. delicious.

I guess you could frame it like that, but it's not a button - it's all automated. Algorithms turn themselves off in an instant if a certain set of criteria are met.

It takes some discretionary input to manage hedge fund models but it is mostly algorithms the whole way....however it's not the sort of full stack approach where you do not touch it.

Hedge funds don't obviously interfere from the gut, but I may make additions to the logic based on specific scenarios and asset classes it finds itself trading

They were "dying" back in 2019 when the shares fell 70% because of a helium shortage they were entirely unprepared for.

This time is different because they have more than one helium supplier and were prepared to deal with it since they've faced it before. The company also was never really "dying" since from 2001 to 2018, they were profitable and growing EBITDA every quarter. Pent up demand from lockdowns may cause a boost in sales too.

>I mean as far as what the Fed has in their mandate all indicators are screaming for additional rate hikes and higher rate hikes.
Did they not think this was going to happen when they pumped $7 trillion into the market?
Are they really only paying attention to short term indicators and actually are retarded? Or are they pretending to be retarded and this was the plan all along? Creating too much inflation, and then dialing it back a bit.

If you raise rates to 5% like some are suggesting we'll see real estate dip 15% overnight. which is only an exciting prospect to people who own puts or all cash. The volatility itself will cause a huge spike in unemployment

I still don't know the answer. Are they pretending to be retarded or are they really?

By mid to early October, there should be a lot more certainty about how this will play out, so that'd also be a good time to evaluate the position and exit if you're not comfortable. I intend to hold until January and start selling covered calls.

The thought process behind my initial trade was so long as it stays above $1, the company isn't at risk of being de-listed and is therefore more likely than not to survive. I also assumed that the $1 mark was a strong psychological support level that the market wouldn't let the stock cross.

So part of me is thinking about selling my GUSH and putting it all into GEO. I mean that's burry's only play he's holding. Seems like he's on to something, or is he just a larping idiot? It makes perfect sense that as things progress radically in the government that their next move would be to imprison political enemies right? (I'm assuming Democrats steal another election and don't even try to hide it and anyone who disagrees gets locked up) What do you guys think?

He also has a terrible history of timing with GEO given I bought the quarter he first sold for a loss when they cut the dividend and I sold for 2x. I'd be a buyer at $5 again though, so sell puts imo

People don't really think all that much about share price appreciation as a vector of profit. Mostly because they see what happens to that during market crashes. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush mentality. This is compounded by the fact savings rates at the bank have been shit most of our lives unless you are really fucking old. So that skews the idea of what kind of returns on an investment is acceptable.

And to put it into perspective dividend fag. You make $700 a quarter for holding $100k in stock. That means you make $2800 a year in dividends. That means it would take 35 years for you to make $100k. Or, you could have taken that $100k initial investment, invested in SIGA and made $100k in 3 months. Dividend fags are the biggest midwits in all of /biz/. Lol. Lmao even.

But what do you see there now? Well they stopped shopping at costco and all the 3rd grade education brown folk came and and went ohhhh costco good deal good deal. My son loves ovrerpriced champion walmart brand shit liet me buy this sweatshirt for 75 dollars good deal.
