There are more "claims" (cash, stocks, bonds) to "capital" (goods and services and commodities) than actually exist in the real world. You are simply buying the commodity before the banks have the opportunity to spread the losses to your via dilution of the currency.

Gold is tier 1 banking capital.

As a general rule of thumb, what would be the average percentage of a silver "plated" piece of silver. 2% silver? 3%? Or would it be like 1% of silver or less?
Asking cause I recently picked up a silver plated fruit bowl from birtish hong kong for about 5 bucks at a goodwill a while ago and looked up to see it selling an average of 20-30 dollars on ebay for good condition, and was wondering how much the silver content plays a factor into the pricing or value.

Because anon, you will be isekai'ed to Bubbaville, USA which will be magically self-sufficient community that has 0 dependence on the global supply chain (aside from all the silver that all the residents were stacking prior). Then, once the habbening happens, everyone will just know that nows the time to all switch over to using silver to transact, and life will continue as normal just for your soecial town. Those were smart enough to stack extra silver beforehand (i.e. you) will become RICH overnight. And that's why silver is the comfiest stack for schizos who consume too much doomer porn.

Ask yourself why many extremely wealthy investors are recently taking physical possession of their gold and silver from the third-party vaults. Question: Should I swap out 40 silver eagles for generics? What would be a reasonable amount of generic ounces that one could gain from a swap like this? Is 40 too low? Going to talk to a good trusted LCS today and see what they say.

>> No.51109102

>Sell 40 igles for +9 spot = $1120
>Buy generic rounds at $23.50 = 47.65 rounds
Obviously you can't buy .65 of a round, so you can do whatever you want with the remaining $15. I've been hearing a lot of stacking channels recommend this lately, but personally, there's a safety in stacking silver that may very well have separate legal rights entitled to it vs generics in the near future. Why do you think the Walmart billionaire woman bought nothing but igles?

>> No.51109157

Goys, proice dropping... Is it buy time?

>> No.51109240

Eagle premiums will only go up even higher in the next run up for metals. You’ll be paying 100% premiums when that happens. Eagles will be priced out of reach for your average wage slave. You’re an idiot to trade eagles for generic now. In the middle of a fucking lull no less. At least wait for a run up bro. Also, 1 oz generic rounds hardly save you any premium compared to Roos or Brits for example. If you’re this retarded, or have so many eagles you want to diversify either trade the eagles for Roos or Brits or krugs, or trade for 10oz+ bars. 1 oz generic rounds may be the most retarded purchase on the planted. My best advice….keep the eagles and use some worthless cash to buy yourself more silver.

>> No.51109248

The legality surrounding coin vs generic is there, true. Not going to dump my entire eagle stack but the premium difference looks so juicy rn.

Didn't know it was a Walmart billionaire who bought. But it was Bill Holter, he's a boomer fudlord extraordinaire, I could definitely see him swaying her opinion. And there is some safety/security in eagles.

Here's a recent chat with him and Jason Burack, surprised me, I thought they had some beef going on but looks like they made up.

>> No.51109282

Eagles for Krugs sounds like a nice trade too. Or weiners. And I wouldn't sell my entire eagle stack of course.

>> No.51109308

Treading 40 eagles to gain 5 extra oz of silvertowne shit is not worth it. Stop watching those YouTube channels bro. The eagle premium is going to easily reach 100% the next time people panic buy.

>> No.51109429

Thanks for the thinking points, I'll see what the LCS guy says, I'm planning on purchasing shiny either way.

>> No.51109504

I wouldn't lose the eagles, or at the very least keep some/most of them. It is a great way to scalp out a few ounces for free which is a good profitable trade all on its own. When silver hits triple digits that little trade you made could be worth thousands of dollars that you scalped out for free.
I don't buy eagles, and have no plans to sell the ones I already own. But it's not necessarily a bad trade. I wouldn't do it personally unless I had a bunch to spare.

I wouldn't suggest below 1 oz, you'll get fucked by premiums. Look at AGEs, Gold Buffaloes, Gold Krugerands and stuff. Good luck.

Does that apply to old Euro gold as well or just modern fractional bullion?

Anon, while getting into gold for the first time, try to get the most grams of 24k purity, old ones, fancy ones are not in our reach right now. You should be able to find the spot price on kitco and compare the spot + premium that you are paying for the gold, be it fractional or otherwise, smaller the fraction, higher the premium is the general rule.

Are you American, Euro, or something else? If American, pay the little bit extra for an eagle. 1/4, 1/2, or 1toz. You can ignore the 1/10th as the premiums are too high. SD Bullion has(or maybe had) deals on pre-33. Those are decent buys, especially the heavily circulated and jewelry grade.

This image is unbelievably based. One of the adjustments being made by 'late stage capitalism' is the desire to have people work to merely rent out their existence. Rent your gym. Rent your music. Rent your media. It is nonstop subscriptions even going so far as to have people renting out their "heated seats" that exists in the very cars they buy.
You used to be able to buy single songs for $.99 each. They quickly learned that after buying 100 or so songs, most people stop buying music because they only really listen to it while they are driving. So if you buy your fill, pick your favorites, and never buy new music, you never have to spend money again. Whereas subscription cucks now spend $1200 over the course of a decade just for music.
The younger you are the more you can leverage these consumer purchases into investments. Buying gym equipment saves me $200 a year in memberships. Owning CDs and buying used ones saves me $120 per year in subscriptions. Owning DVDs and refusing to pay subscriptions saves me another $120minimum. And not only that, the money you are saving can be spent acquiring new music and movies. And you can hand-pick the best there is. Amazon sells cheap, used copies. Half priced books has cheap, used everything. It's a buyers market and saving the cash on a month to month basis gives you more money to invest on other things,

Are we gonna finish low for the weekend?
I can haz monster box?

Study the pricing guide charts with buy/sell premiums and spread on thesilvermountain.nl and achter-or-argent.fr
You'll have to also do the calculations for the euro gold content (typically 5.8 or 7.2 grams IIRC) for comparing them to 1 ozt coins.
My personal conclusion: maybe *some* of the cheaper 20F and sovs might be worth it, if you can't afford 1 ozt coin. But you might still just be better off to keep stacking low-premium silver in the long run.

I've been hoarding old DVDs and Blu Rays I'd intended to sell for this reason. Once the next depression hits and every expense needs to be accounted for, I'll be more than happy to cancel my internet service and all streaming subscriptions and subsist comfortably on a well curated library of physical movies, games, etc.

>> No.51112386

It's a buyers market. You can find all kinds of quality movies for $1-3 each. Hell I use my amazon rewards points to buy up shit like Game of Thrones DVDs for $5+Shipping.

My thinking is all of these media companies want to profit off of the popularity of streaming services and they actually want to undo the notion of "$5 movie bins" you would see at places like Wal Mart. They want to restrict their IP so they can lease it to Netflix etc.
I don't have to wait and pray for Netflix to maybe, MAYBE have a good movie to watch. Half of it is garbage trash anyway,

Nearly 100% correct - but gym membership (at a reasonably priced non commercialised gym) is actually paying for upkeep of the gym; and quite justifiable. Also the cost of the plethora of equipment would far outweigh the 10 years worth of $200.
Other than this. Based and agree.

Zoomies NGMI. They can't use non-smartphone computers, much less torrent. Sad.

>> No.51112707

I agree. I am not knocking on the idea of gyms or their value. Certain I could get a far better workout at a gym than what I currently own sitting in my garage. But if purchased early enough, a bench press, pullup bar, some weights... it can save you a lot of money if you are an amateur lifter who only does it for health reasons.
My ultimate warning to people is to be careful in your consumerisms starting to slowly consume your life. Biting off more than you can chew because your salary allows it is a bad idea if you are not fully aware that if you forget to save, a decade of "renting" will leave you exactly where you started.

>> No.51112729

>You used to be able to buy single songs for $.99 each.

Imagine having paid for music, ever. Imagine not pirating individual songs since Napster and Limewire, then albums, once torrents came out. You are a cuck yourself.

>> No.51112869

All fair points. Pirating things is definitely the way to go to save your money. My analysis on subscription based services still stand though.

You didn't even have to pirate. Just download all the free shareware and freeware stuff from local BBS. Record music from radio onto cassette tape, from TV onto VHS, etc. Basically you didn't have to pay for anything except the media.
