I have ADHD but I'm actually quite capable and smart and still i dropped out of uni twice because i just couldn't manage myself well enough or lost interest quite quickly, then i went to therapy and to a clinic for a few weeks, now I'm 24 and have some meds for when shit gets hard and they work really well, i prefer that to being drugged constantly, am on my 3rd attempt at uni (studying Finance) and just finished the 3rd semester and it's going well, gonna graduate at 26 if everything goes smoothly from here

Yeah, I left uni in 2016 and floundered around for a bit being depressed and miserable but then decided to start improving myself to make up for 4 lost years at uni. I got a job, started going to the gym, started reading more and making myself talk to people more and joined a couple of things (cricket team, pub quiz) and made some mates that way. I don't know what country you live in but it's always possible to pull yourself out of any hole that you're in.

Do it if it's really a degree worth getting it and it doesn't ruin you financially. It's better to graduate at 34 than be 40 and regret it when you had the time to do it twice in your 30s. Going to uni and gaining the skills + networking was the only thing that helped me to break out of poverty. I had a similar situation with getting braces, I got them at 24 and got them off at 27, it's much better to do it late and sacrifice a couple of years than regret it for the next 30 years

Imagine going to uni when you could just start customer service at 20, go into sales, learn how to communicate and market yourself effectively, put in the same amount of work as any "respectable" degree requires and triple your original salary within 4 years. You're making 100k a year with a wealth of experience while still being young, having your own apartment, car and can literally go anywhere from that point.
