CHPT, for example, I think will get a good pump just before earnings, but will ultimately be poor and crash.

Crude inventories are at their historical bottom, which usually indicates that we've hit the peak in prices. Either Crude inventories will build past this point, or the price will get to be so painful it will simply keep people off the road until gas gets cheaper and demand comes back.

It is already starting, but wait till they drop rates again to buy. Whatever you do get fixed rate mortgage.

This real estate crisis will be shorter than 2008 -2011 crash. The selloff will be faster and the gov will intervene sooner and more aggressively. 20% down from current prices and with 2-3% rates is probably about as good as you can hope for.

Ratios. For example, look at the gold to XLE, uranium to XLE, copper to XLE, and SPX to XLE etc. charts. Chart the trend lines, look for breakouts and look for the confluence with historical XLE tops and bottoms. Then chart the ratios of your individual oil stocks to XLE to see relative performance.

Then understand that in any sector during a bullrun, the majors always move first, followed by juniors and then derivative sectors. When the majors top out, juniors will be right behind.

How can I not blame the Jews. I was slowing switching fund 5000 at a time and it was buying relatively quick.

Market was crabbing and it was going quickly so I thought fuck it I'll just do the rest so yesterday 5000 decided it didn't want to buy despite the others buying quickly.

Also by that logic the 9000 remaining should buy today (ill find out in 30 minutes). Somehow my decision has caused me to be in 50% cash during a good day and today most likely 33% cash on a 1%+ day. I sold pretty much every time on a -0.7% day. God hates me. Not the Christian one. Not Allah. Whatever fucked up Jewish God that is clearly running this joint. I'm so angry at this nigga. I agree 2020 was a GREAT time to get in... 20 dollar oil, it was a nobrainer that every schmuck with a 1000 bucks should have jumped on.

I was unfortunately broke and in college at the time but I saw the prices and knew what I was looking at.
With that said, there has been plenty of upside to oil this entire year. Just dont get greedy is all. I got in at around 56 dollars a share on DVN earlier this year, and got out one week before the crash in oil prices. Same with XOM.
-so I definitely got lucky, but point is, there is still opportunity in this market.

Who tf has time to wait for the next pandemic or time oil crashes. Especially in these inflationary times. Energy is about the only thing that has gone well for me as of late, besides Monkebox vaccines and the occasional shitstock that swings up and down based on QE.

Another thing, I'll take you up on being crazy on that 1 yr T bill. I never understood why anyone would buy T-bills when you can find higher yielding debt sold privately...

Then again, I never buy bonds/debt so maybe thats why I dont understand.

Still, the glowies can take full advantage of their r&d imo. Some anon in an earlier thread was saying how their data center business is quite big and keeps on growing, and I believe it will regardless of market conditions. Retail is where they have better margins but gov contracts and data centers are not going to slow down. Also, anecdotal evidence I have is a friend of mine who was working on some big data company and he was telling me how GPUs will replace CPUs, especially for things such as AI and ML simply due to the information processing. That was about 6 years ago.
