We farm/export way more than we consume and are up near the top in terms of food security. Don't be fooled by the desert meme.. There's barely 25 mil of us here in a landmass equivalent to the US with plenty of fertile land etc.. Even more so now that we've been inundated with rain for the past 3 years.. In my locality alone we have 7 years worth of water storage which is much the same for the rest of the country so we're in an extremely strong position in terms of mitigating climatic issues (drought).

The only people who are going to get burned by the housing bubble bursting and high inflation are over leveraged morons.. The average mortage size in Australia is around $625k.. There's been plenty of building companies going bust lately because they retardedly over leveraged and thought the property money train was going to go on forever but this is a necessary step in trimming the fat.

I am expecting another dip this year or next before we bottom out.. Hoping to get another property for around 800-900k which would have been asking 1.6 mil back in the peak this year.

Jackson was arrested and detained briefly; however, charges were later dropped.[28][29] School officials say the students involved in the fighting were known as truants, described three of them as "third-year freshmen", and noted that the seven students combined had missed 350 days of high school.[27]
