Bros I applied for a couple weeks ago and have a follow up interview today but I lost my ACTUAL job last Friday. So as far as the employer I'm interviewing for is concerned - I'm still employed. They're obviously going to verify with my last employer (that just canned me) what my employment dates were - so what should I tell the HR roasties during my follow up interview today? Should I tell them my company is going through a "restructuring" I didn't like so submitted my 2 weeks? I obviously just can't tell them I got canned. What do??

Tell them you got canned because times are bad and everyones getting canned and that you were caught looking for a better job so they canned you before you left and thats what you heard from someone from HR

So you can be as creative as you like with the truth. Personally, I'd say,
