If I buy XMR from a KYC exchange , then send it to a wallet
and then using the XMR (from the wallet) to buy BTC on some Dex , no one can retrace the BTC to me ? (assuming I used Tails OS)

all "no kyc" means for an exchange is "we can steal your money with impunity because we can just say your the wrong person or it's illegal monies".

if your kyc'd then presumably you can sue and take it to court and get your money back and stealing it is a crime.

kucoin is a "no kyc" exchange; it's even shilled in the XMR threads, but try to deposit a non-irrelevant amount of XMR into kucoin and see what happens. They'll immediatly steal all your funds and demand not only KYC; but a full funds receipt trail all the way from the original fiat buy

I didnt do it in xmr but just used different chains between no kyc exchanges to transfer usdt
