i am not sure whats price will gonna be but chainlink provides offchain computation cheaper and more secure way, this utility is no where seen in crypto so far.
i believe, economic moats and team skillsets are awesome, price action is sucks because people cannot build ponzi's on top of chainlink token.
ethereum is locked with nft's for example.

all the pos-like chains can be run on chainlink DON validator + fss functionality.
DON value is not represented yet.
but still, no retail ponzi ideas on top of link for retail.
