The most amazing part of this whole saga is seeing how with a little seed money, Citadel created a MASSIVE, fatally overleveraged portfolio worth 65BN out of nothing. Metaverse is DOA I don't know why you're playing devil's advocate. Until Facebook distributes free VR goggles to everyone the metaverse is a pipe dream. If for some reason VR becomes as pervasive as phones, then okay maybe. Even then, though, Facebook is NOT who anybody wants to create social media experiences.
