The IV, HV, and the VIX* are falling witch make option premiums go down plus most of market is bottoming out.

on a monthly expiry, where there is big weakness on the Friday both in the AM SPX expiration and the PM SPY expiration, 9 times out of 10 the 'stupor' carries over into the Monday open
it is pretty rare for there to be a reversal over the weekend
genuinely requires a large catalyst / news to break, in order to break the "current"
the path of least resistance going into Monday will always be lower, when we had the day we had Friday
it takes a lot to overcome and change the 'path' of least resistance

I don't think the NTI model was a bust. Look at event 201. it was predicting 65 million deaths. We only had 6.45 million and some of those deaths are questionable. You have to adjust the death/infection rate accordingly. Also the doctor who worked under Bill Gates said mass vaccination for monkey poop will mutate it causing it to become more infectious. It's a wait and see, but those vaccines I don't trust them one bit... Their are a lot of "breakthrough' infections after getting the shot.

One piece of news is all it takes to rocket it back to $26 and beyond. This pullback we had this week doesn't surprise me at all, it was hitting new ATHs for four days in a row. Not a surprise that it's cooling off after that. Additionally, as many know, SIGA is an extraordinarily manipulated stock, so $25 options expiring worthless was inevitable. I’m gonna coom in my octopussy
Octopuses do not have any bones with the exception of their beaks. so if you are responsible and depraved enough to
be literally the life support of your 8 limbed friend, you can debeak it like how you'd declaw a cat and then push your member into it's feed chute.

You can then let it subsist on your baby batter.

The Octopus is smart. Very smart. It will learn that without it's beak, it cannot feed on anything else but your human seed that has to be milked from you.

Every morning, you will feel your clothes slide off and a damp weight on your lower half.

The sensation creeps up your body until most of the jiggly mass has enveloped the entire length. It will start pumping as fast as it can for it is hungry.

The animal gyrates its empty stomach and the folds of its brain rubbing on your glans, begging for nutrition.

You climax and give the marine creature's breakfast. The pumping slows down but doesn't stop to milk out the last few drops of its meal.

Looking into its yellow animal eyes, it looks back with a thousand-yard stare. This will be routine for all of its meals for the rest of it's 3-5 years on this god forsaken planet.

Another one might be FSLR. Making a little bit of a profit but had almost 2x in one month and bounced off support. I don't think it will break it and will instead cool down soon. I already own some puts here

I was also researching crypto. So, wanted to diversify my asset classes, I went and bought some crypto and gold/silver to see how I felt about it (best way to learn is by doing etc.) Then as time went on I started reading more comments like yours and "pms should only be 5-8% of your pf. So now that I've touched upon every class that I can I'm now trying to weight them properly.

TL;DR I bought because i wanted to see how i felt about it and now i wanna know if I should rotate out.

I don't follow kiyosaki. Also when celebs of any type start shilling stuff, that's when you sell. As a fellow poorfag I can verify that diversification under 50k is only worth in stocks/options whatever. Diversifying into PMs is something you do as a hedge, which also doesn't work well these days. The gold/silver bull thesis has been fucked by jerome and his thick veiny tool. I'm not berating you, I've done similar mistakes myself and physical is not worth it if you're still grinding to make it to 6 digits along with other stuff that i'm too lazy and stupid to say. Idk how you'll like rotating out of those PMs because coinshops buy the melt value so I hope you bough low premium ones. Note that premium is high in general, I've spent sometime in /pmg/ and after listening to some level-headed anons there and here, I stopped buying rocks and focused on growing my portfolio.

Gold is only a good inflation hedge after 100+ years(you won't live that long). Also don't Pms get taxed as regular income? Furthermore if inflation is what you're worried about just invest in energy stocks/etfs. 2020-2022 proved that energy is much more of an effective inflation hedge than Pms. Also gold is heavily affected by the strength of the dollar(different from inflation). If the strength of the dollar is still there than gold goes down even with inflation, look at gold prices recently they fell even with record inflation

dear mr. rocker,

thank you so much for all of your hard work in making videos, your regular smg updates has become something i look forward to each week with great excitement.

i also recently watched your "JOB ADVICE FOR ZOOMERS" video and found it extremely helpful as someone in their 20s. i also happen to work in an entry-level sales-based job. i wanted to ask if you would be open to sharing on youtube some more of your tips and advice in a sales context as you hinted, given your background and experience.

i want to "make myself valuable" and eventually become a based sigma male like yourself, but sadly i am just not outperforming my peers in sales even though i show up early (not just on time) and have occasionally taken on overtime. i try to do my best, but i think i am working hard, not working smart, and i don't know what else to do. i am frusrtated at myself and am starting to feel burnt out from too many failed attempts trying to close deals on these normies. how can i do better?

thank you so much in advance if you decide to do this. keep on rocking in the free world.

best,

>Also don't Pms get taxed as regular income?

>Furthermore if inflation is what you're worried about just invest in energy stocks/etfs. 2020-2022 proved that energy is much more of an effective inflation hedge than Pms
Oh yes energy is excellent. Gold has the added benefit of being counterparty risk free though. Believe me if storing barrels of oil at my place was as easy as storing a couple of coins I would do it.
>Also gold is heavily affected by the strength of the dollar(different from inflation). If the strength of the dollar is still there than gold goes down even with inflation, look at gold prices recently they fell even with record inflation
Here's where location starts to matter. Gold is forming a bullish uptrend in almost every other currency than USD. Of course, holding USD instead of your local shithole currency is also an excellent idea but gold is a viable option in that regard as well.

I do also wonder what gold would do in relation to stocks and dollars if faith in the financial system began to wobble again.

TL;DR it's still a viable asset to allocate a small part of the ol' folio

uhh, lets check if I understood it right or if someone can correct me
reserves are money that banks hold without lending out, like a cushion against runs
the fed used to require that banks hold reserves, this requirement has been set to zero since covid
the fed now pays an interest rate for reserves held by banks, the "IOR rate". Previously, no interest was paid, which encouraged banks to hold minimal reserves.

banks get reserves in two ways:
>direct collateralized borrowing from the fed (aka repos), at the "discount rate"
>overnight repo lending between banks (the "ON RRP rate").

The fed controls the money supply by making it cheaper or more expensive to acquire reserves, by moving the IOR rate, discount rate and the ON RRP rate (via open market operations). Also there can be some strange incentives, on the right of the chart when the discount rate goes below the IOR rate, the fed is effectively paying banks to hold reserves that they borrow from it (discount rate is what banks pay, IOR is what fed pays back). So in that situation, banks borrow reserves from the fed but they might be unwilling to lend them forward to customers, since holding them is free money.

One thing I didn't get is what the difference is supposed to be between open market operations in the overnight repo market (when performed by the fed), and the standard discount rate repos - aren't those both the same type of repo? Is the fed active in both only for more liquidity or is there something more there?

I agree with the idea energy will probably do better but gold will do fine in an inflationary time. Energy also had such an insane run because it got killed in the lockdowns. Going forwards the performance disparity between the 2 will shrink and they are almost the same trade (esp gold-oil).

The thing with gold is that it is also a bond-alternative and a proxy for confidence in central banks and negative real yield expectations. Bond traders saying "to hell with this I'm buying gold!" is what causes it to really take off which hasn't really happened yet.

So it struggled because the bond market first refused to believe inflation was coming (in spite of printing), and now is insisting that the Fed will definitely send the economy into a recession to stop it, hence: nope still no reason to bail on bonds. You can see them shilling bonds all over fintwit. They all think we're going down another 40% and cause mass layoffs to crush inflation back to 2%. This is implicitly what the commercial banks are pushing for.

I guess to be charitable you could say it's a hedge against money printing since M2 going up pushes up whatever is currently the chosen sector. Last decade was disinflationary and steadily dropping yields so it was tech shit like crypto and tesla that grows like weeds in that condition.

Once the printing shows itself in CPI (because china and shale oil aren't offsetting it anymore), commodities get the crown of "chosen sector" and outpaces M2 growth while growth and tech lags it. We'll see if crypto can shapeshift into selling itself as digital gold and trying to ride that wave up, but I really doubt it and clearly the market doesn't believe that narrative. Maybe if central banks and big bond traders start buying it in size.

So that's where you've been. Welcome back. I had been meaning to run some things by you but there's been a lack of meaningful discussion of the company as of late. Now it makes sense.
The fud here has gotten suspect, as have price movements. I think we're close. Been doing research which I'll try to share before market on Monday.
Generally speaking, I don't think the delay means they hate SIGA. Clearly they understand that TPOXX works -- otherwise they wouldn't have "pre-positioned" 50k doses. I think it means they don't want to give out the strategic stockpile to the public -- in case we need it for the military or a smallpox attack, etc. -- and get stuck with the bill. Right now, only the government can issue orders for the drug, and TPOXX is significantly more expensive than Jynneos.

Since MPXV doesn't really kill, they can afford to wait for appropriate approvals to move TPOXX into the commercial supply chain while keeping the stockpile in reserve in the event we need it (i.e., if we see a breakout of one of the more deadly clades). I believe that's the reason for the regulatory red tape. They a particular kind of FDA approval so they can begin distributing TPOXX from SIGA's reserve inventory (rather than the SNS) to wholesalers and then to pharmacies, ultimately sticking private insurance with the bill rather than government.

This explains the CDC's bullshit. Stretching vaccine doses based on one old study while denying an EUA on TPOXX despite a plethora of data? A conference where they pretend that containment is possible stretching the doses means they're panicking? Pretending that testing is even close to real numbers? K.

The tl;dr is that i think this is about money and where that money is going to come from, government or insurance.

I think it's time to load. Like bigly, before normalfags get a grip on pharmaceutical supply chains and the extend of the outbreak. I think this is what the strange fud has been about; someone else is loading.

Yes it takes margin, don't let that scare you just be responsible. If you buy a long to hedge your short that's called a spread, or a vertical. They take practice to use but can be very profitable, I run them frequently on the spx, ndx, and rut and did a ton on bbby when it spiked up. I was making over 900 per spread on my bbby calls and closed all in less than 48 hours. The volatility crush on Friday rendered calls that I originally sold several dollars in the money on weds worthless 15 mins after open.

Be patient with learning this stuff, there is a real skill to it, it's much more of an actual game than just longing into things is. You have mechanics that you can use to defend a position.

My ideal folio over next 10 years would be some mix of:

URNM
UCO (or other leveraged energy)
GDXJ
DBA (mixed agriculture)

I'd like to do copper to, but it'd have to be futures based because the copper miners are all in areas with big nationalization risk.

This also changes my outlook on the the stock.
I don't think TPOXX is getting an EUA prior to the resolution of clinical trials. RCP data is absolutely necessary to push a drug into the commercial chain.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say that the resolution of those trials may or may not align with midterm elections in blue states.

the fundamentals in uranium are very solid. theres a lot of nuclear plants propose/built and there isnt enough supply to meet current and future demand. the price of uranium at its lowest was around 18$ a lb, and its height was 138$. the current price is too low to incentivize production, so a uranium mining company like Cameco could go up 3-5x, an a junior by 10x. there is a possibility that russian uranium is sanctioned by the US as well, which removes a significant amount of the nuclear fuel cycle. basically, its just a matter of time, the sector is tiny and deeply undervalued.

I'll add that according to Rick Rule who knows quite a bit more than I do, at the current U price the average mine is operating at a loss. So the price will have to come up. Also let's consider the increase in U demand in the next 10-15 years as new reactors are to be built more than old ones are decommissioned esp. in China

its hard to say, there are rumours of Kazakhstan trying to distance itself from russia but we dont know if this will play out. i think URNM is still a better play than URA. also according to interview with KAP they sound like their material is still able to get to port and sold, so they should be okay(in addition to most of their supply going to china)

exactly, and that utilities make long term contracts that have floor cost of say 50% a fixed amount, and 50% referenced to the spot price. so a utility could end up paying 150$ for uranium in 3 years, erven if todays prices are 50$
