just started waging for the FIRST time in my life
25 hours drains all my energy
am I just being a pussy? How much different does 25 hours feel vs 40
and how the fuck do people do this for 40 hrs a week

What's the job?

>> No.51002871

The trick is to not work the full hours.
These days I work maybe 5 hours out of the 40 that I am paid for.

>> No.51002885

I "work" 40 hours a week. In reality it's around 5-8 tops. You will get the hang of it soon enough.

Ingest copious stimulants while you wait for your body to give out so that the next sucker can take your place and do the same.

You literally just sit in a cage packing shit in cardboard boxes and they let you listen to music/podcasts while you do it. It's not the worst wagie job desu. If you work at a restaurant, prepare to work 60+ hour weeks in a hot ass kitchen and getting screamed at by stressed out managers/customers

If you were working 40 hours, that would become "normal" to you, like how 25 hours is now. I worked a 9 hour day for 9 days a fortnight at one point, some days would be 7:30-5pm not including breaks, and once you're already there for that time an extra hour on top of what you're doing isn't really that bad.

You'll get used to after a few days and it'll be less tiring, the first days are always the most draining. But you'll never get used to pic related watching you from the warehouse panopticon.

i also work at a warehouse 40h/week packing stupid ass metal parts in boxes and on pallets. most time i'm just on "auto-pilot" because it's so monotonous you don't have to think about anything. you are probably just a zoomer pussy like >>51003031 already pointed out. lmao some of my colleagues are some 60 year old grandmas and even they can stomach 8 hours a day light physical activity and you can't? you zoomers are just the faggiest

Just made in Stock Option Trading today in 18 minutes what the average wagie makes in 2 days.40 hours is harder but you have to have a plan to not do 40hours. You have to see it as income that will help you get to the next level. If you are complete retard and spend your entire check doing dumb shit youll get caught in the wage cage.

depends on the job. if the job is easy, time wise, it doesnt make a big difference.

if you have a very physical job then it is pure hell.

Guys, I sprang my ankle December of last year and got Covid shortly after. Ever since, my joints and muscles have been extremely painful and sore. Mostly in the wrists and ankles, but also my calve muscles. The thing is, I can pinpoint the initial onset of pain to an injury where all of the pain is at. i.e. the wrist pain came from a sprain in January when I caught myself falling while on crutches. They drew blood testing for Rheumatoid Arthritis, but that came back negative, but I'm also developing some skin nodules on the toes and fingers, and I suspect I have Rheumatoid Arthritis that doesn't show up on blood tests. The pain is manageable, but I also feel very stiff and limited now-a-days and haven't been able to run for 9 months. Anyone know a cure that pubmed and the other pharma owned medical websites aren't telling us? Help me out bros.

Increase collagen intake (bone broth), stretch daily, and start low impact cardio like swimming. If you're a male under the age of 40 like most of /biz/, your chances of arthritis are very low.

I love all the comments immediately telling you to leave. If you don't have the skills or training to get a better job, enjoy the warehouse. If you chose to not do well in school and create nothing productive and have no goals, enjoy the warehouse. It is where you belong until you finally decide to contribute a valuable service to society.

Thanks bro. I'm on a mostly meat diet right now. Today I had some sirloin with hot sauce (Vinegar, Aged peppers) Salt, and pepper, and some carbonated water. I'm trying a restricted diet in hopes this improves my symptoms. I am 30 years old, 5'11 150 lbs. If I actually have it, I don't think I could convince myself to get on the meds, I've read they have terrible side effects.

Research the Sarno backpain book that's really popular.

You get an initial injury and even though you've had time to heal and you have developed the muscles doing pt, the chronic pains and flare ups remain because the location that was injured is hypervigilant. Any small movement that feels anywhere close to the initial injury movement is going to send shooting pains and stiffness.

Prove this to yourself by imagining doing something that normally hurts. You'll immediately feel the pain swell up.

The solution is to imagine doing that stuff without it hurting. And also just try to be more active, do stuff that you normally feel to stiff or sore to do, and keep reminding yourself that your tissues are just guarding. Try to relax them, remind yourself that you're safe, relax into the movements telling yourself you've had time to heal and you're moving safely.

It should help a ton. Worked for me after like a decade of chronic back pain.
