This is me.
I guess my biggest concern with it all is I'm squandering away opportunity cost to support them and the money I spend I will more than likely not be able to get it back. If I left my parents my dad would probably end up dying from the stress. They sucked growing up but we did have the things we needed. Sometimes I just want to leave them and get on with my life. I've lived with them for a while and I feel it has hindered me from pursuing a life without anyone's problems fucking with my life. I just don't know what to do sometimes because I'd like to be rich but I want my mom and dad to be alive and in their home me and my brother grew up in.

Because humans must live in accordance with nature's restrictions. Overpopulation, ironically, is a symptom of dying species. The equilibrium is skewed a bit in the moment, but nothing too worrisome yet. Humans will adjust the number accordingly themselves.
