I see 10 port stations with fans for sale too. Whats the expected mining revenue off of 1 of these shits.

0.0000000000000 BTC in 10 years

LMAO this looks like such a fucking scam anon. plus bitDAO and other whales buy hundreds of ETH every damn day in hopes of the merge. PoW is so 2000 and late.

probably so lil the transaction costs would be higher than your revenue for a whole year.

btc mining only with renewable energy, aka free elecricity and with top notch miners so your roi will be reasonable.

>> No.50953030

Anon, 99999,9% percent of the time someone tries to sell you something that will 'make you profit', it's bullshit. Like those bitcoin miner apps that let you 'mine' if you watch adds. When people have the recipe for profit, they don't share it, because they aren't morons. No one is charitable when it comes to money and sharing the means of making more money.

>> No.50953072

That's a lottery ticket for solo mining. Someone hit a block on one of those a year ago after mining 3-5 years. Pure luck.

>> No.50953205

Well the video that was posted above 6$ a month for 3 of those sticks. Honestly, you have to pick some new lowcap PoW coin that has potential like Quai - then try to compound the asset by getting interest on it somewhere. Otherwise its not worth it - unless u enjoy hobby aspect of it

>> No.50953245

They are not a scam but they won't be profitable. They have a webpage they're probably cheaper there.

Just put the numbers on a mining calculator. On Bitcoin 300GH/s is 136 sat / day which is $0.03 excluding electricity costs. Even if the stick itself doesn't drain much power you still need a PC that's connected 24/7. Not worth it.

>> No.50953357

He can use it as a standalone miner and basically have a lottery ticket granting him 6.25 BTC

Why has nobody invented a device I can just insert anywhere I'm out and about (using either a SIM or maybe offline mining till you next go online), can casually plug it in on the train, Starbucks, wherever, and mine.
Even if not BTC but some shitcoin.
Is it really that hard to do?

yes they are selling gold shitting donkey machines that turn a profit without any preorders and scalpers out of the goodness of their heart and tiny usb sticks with overhead are way more efficient than giant mining boards

I'm talking about convenience, not having to whip out a laptop every time you want to take advantage of a few minutes of free electricity. Plus processing power is insufficient. Rather than a CPU or a GPU, would be cool to have a small box with ASIC or similar on it.

You're the idiot if you think an internet connection is needed for every millisecond of mining.

I like where you are going with this but alternatively how can I abuse all of the devices attached to a public WIFI to mine for me while they are connected? CPU mining for XMR or something. If I had a business that hundreds of customers came to my establishment and used the WIFI can I some how get them to mine for me in the background in the mean time?

I always wanted to take a USB with an XMR miner and install it into as many public computers as possible and set the usage to only 20%~ and learn as many ways to hide the file as I can. Its probably highly illegal though kek
