Thats what happened to me. I swung CIDM when the market was printing in 2020, made a few grand on it. Ended up with an average 1.30, october rolls around and it hits like 4.00, I dont sell then it crashes to 0.65. It was difficult to accept a 50% loss instead of 200% profits and in hindsight I shouldve sold or put stops or took SOME profit but didnt.
At least writing calls gives me some income, but Im more careful with leverage now. Forgot to mention i burned like $1500 this year buying options lol
