Traveled a lot. But always stayed in countries for a month or more so really haven't been to that many places. I haven't been to Norway yet.

I really like Prague as a choice for a second or third home. Prague is better for a romantic trip than France. Too many people have been brainwashed by romantic movies.

So many advantages to living in Prague. And there are always new places opening.

Still, the beer is really overrated. I think the idea that Prague has good beer only came from illiterate UK peasants that wanted a cheaper beer.

Grocery stores are just garbage. The products, the quality, it's actually worse than LATAM.

Ethnic food is decent. Always a good sign when immigrants open restaurants.

Check out the Honest Guide on YouTube. That channel is the shit. They also had to remove a lot of their videos because of a dispute with their business partner. There is a torrent up there somewhere.

I grew up in a rural area. Living on an island is similar but there are more thing to do. Yeah, I'm sure they are pretty backwards. The food fucking sucks.

Hey, it just seems basic to me. Not much spice, flavor, or heat.

Although Praya Restaurante in Praia do Almoxarife was fucking awesome (plus the view, had second floor all to myself). That's not really Portuguese food though?

Hell, look at Anthony Bourdain's episode on the Azores. Food looks like crap. Especially when he eats at someone's home.

I'm not completely dissing them though. I eat fucking basic food every day so I don't turn into a whale.

I would still buy a house there though. Quietest, darkest, place I've ever lived. I live in Ecuador now and trying to sleep here is such a gamble. You never know if some random faggot in the building is going to have a karaoke night.

Lol. This weekend a bomb went off in Guayaquil and killed 5 people and wounded like 16. Apparently some of those 16 might die because they are in critical condition.

Locals love to debate "safe" neighborhoods vs. dangerous neighborhoods but all of them are robbed by guys on motorcycles. I'm going to use a few old phones as burner phones (when I pick them up on a trip back to the US). That way I can go to a lot more neighborhoods. Cash + burner phone. Anyone walking around with a debit card at night is a moron.

My wife's family lives in one of the most dangerous hoods. Her father told me he knows all the robbers. He's friends with them!

LOL. I have an ex-friend that said that too! I don't know if it's aging or what... but yeah, I really should see a doctor. But the ones I've visited here are horrible. The president of Ecuador is probably in the US right now seeking treatment for melanoma.

The expats here say the doctors in Ecuador are amazing (expats are faggots).

It might be the hot sauces I'm using. Some days I can go through 2-3 bottles. It doesn't give me diarrhea or anything. Just bloating, farting, constipation. I emptied my bowels on Saturday after a run and then we went and ate yuca bread and went shopping. It was awesome. But then later I blew my lead and ate a ton of popcorn + hot sauce + whisky + protein drinks.

The farts are really fucking bad. And I felt pretty constipated this morning so I ate some yellow dragon fruit. Then the constipation turned to diarrhea. So another great day.
