You can expect to get $2000 or a little more for each of them. Lots of people will try to offer you spot ($1800) and crooks will try to offer you less. Search "coin store" in your map application of choice and go one by one until you get a good offer. Just walk in and say

The tracking stopped last month because it was too much work for one person to keep track of (also eBay got crappier with showing prices and it's functionality). There's too many /pmg/ coins and variations on the horizon. Separate tracking will be needed for gilded and unserialized, and different year mint AP. It really needed to be a crowd sourced tracking on a google sheets or something going forward, if it were to continue.

Anyways, all the old tracking data until it stopped last month is here:

There's only two official WAGMI noble tiers, "getting the band back together" noble, and supposedly copper penny connection on eBay trying to sell their dubious WAGMIs before they had any, and then fake-ish looking pics on listings when they supposedly had them.

As much as I disagree buying silver will affect the fed, if your goal is to stack as much silver as possible then logically you should be looking to acquire as much capital as possible to buy silver with. It's no different from working more hours or getting another job. I have some silver (about 20oz), but realistically I fucked up by buying it because I'd have more to invest if I'd put some in crypto. It's not even FUD, there's nothing wrong with buying metal, but there is something wrong with passing up on easy money because you bought the ponzi FUD.

I think this is what annoys me the most about these guys. They come in to the pmg thread to talk shit about precious metals and then act surprised when people are annoyed. I have crypto but i come into the thread because having real tangible assets like precious metals is much more satisfying. I also think they will be an important inflation hedge in the near future. However, I am not going to go into crypto threads and tell them to buy precious metals.

>popular beaches
>gutters and nooks/cranies alongside popular roads and paths
>campsites
Pretty much just try to figure out whatever high traffic areas there are that have locations that could hide shit and you'll probably be able to find jewellery and those sorts of things.

I generally wouldn't be a cunt though and give it back if you e.g. find a new looking ring and someone rocks up looking for their lost wedding ring that matches what you've got.

More rugged metal detectors are also great for searching for gold in rivers (alongside traditional panning). e.g.
https://youtu.be/t9sCYfkn6ik?t=155

I know shit like this can be faked pretty easily, but point is if you like the outdoors and know some spots that could have some gold a decent metal detector can really help out.

No, gambling in crypto is not at all like working more hours or getting another job because, you see, working more hours or getting another job legally entitles you to a specific quantity of money. Gambling on crypto legally entitles you to nothing whatsoever. Now you MIGHT gain some money from crypto, IF your luck holds out, and IF you sell at the right time. But crypto gains depend on your good luck and the bad luck of the greater fool. Not so with work.

Europe has no VAT free silver anymore so when I look at prices it's like 29-30€ per oz at the very low near me. Buying online is prices without VAT afaik so it would be even more expensive. I'm thinking of still doing some scalping online and finding sterling silver commemorative coins which are acknowledged widely in my country. Cheapest I can buy is around 870€/kg full kilo bars. Are we overpaying for silver or what the fuck? Last 999 silver I could buy was early in the summer for like 24.5€/oz and that was very expensive imo or maybe we just didn't know how good we had it.

Yeah the tarnish is iridescent like plated stuff usually is, seems like it has some degraded coating which might be why it looks unusual. The stamps are weak but unambiguous, and the style is typical of the silversmith and his sterling.

It's a good site, but their shipping slowed down a lot in July. I'm still waiting on some coins I ordered at end of June. Anyway here's everything I got from them so far this year (sorry for shit picture). I was kinda late to the party and only started buying in May. BTW those aren't monster boxes at the top, they're 5 kg coins, basically bigger versions of the 1 kg coin that's on the bottom.
Also the 1 oz armenian coins are "pre-order" and won't be in for several months. That was actually one reason I went with the big coins, they already had them in stock and the price/oz was similar.
Otherwise they have wieners and those aren't much more expensive.

Maples were a good alternative to Eagles after the eagle premiums exploded. But a lot of people switched to maples and then you saw their premiums rise as well. Put another way, Eagles are so popular and in demand, they dragged up maple premiums. Honestly, you’re better off with krugs, Brits, or Roos over maples at this point. But really, any coin is better than cheap generic rounds. There is absolutely no reason to buy 1 oz rounds when the lower premium coins are only marginally more expensive. If you want to save money on premiums, buy 10oz+ bars. That’s where you see the real savings.

The point of backing a currency with gold is that it puts a hard limit on the government expansion of the money supply. It turns out that limitless creation of new money has some harmful side effects. Lol. Like go to the grocery store or the gas station. Lol. Or buy/rent a living space. Lol. Or watch your savings account/pension vanish into thin air. Lol. Or try to get a university degree without a brutal loan. Lol. Or go bankrupt paying for healthcare. Lol. Or watch your country's currency lose 95% of its value since being decoupled from gold. Lol. Are we having fun yet? Lol.

Question for the numisfellas here, any idea what the markings on the silve (.600) 100 yen I got in the post today are? I was wondering if it could be what's left over of some kind of enamelling but I have no idea why anyone would enamel a big black line over the centre. Don't worry I'm addicted to buying overpriced silver too.

If you really like the art, knock yourself out, but I don't understand the point of spending that much on a modern coin when there are so many numismatically valuable historic coins at better price points.

>> No.50932610

Newfren here.
I'm shopping for some silver 1oz coins, but the cheapest ones are all from Tokelau. Is there any downside to this?
I assume I should buy as cheap coins as possible, so I don't get as fucked on the broker's premium. Silver is silver, after all. Is this not correct?

Yes buy cheap. Make sure to buy from a reputed vendor. You'll also get silver for cheap if you buy larger quantities.

Everything you want is all in the header, they are the most reputable places because most of us here have at least brought from those places. I'm from the UK and I have brought from Chards and Royal Mint. I started with Royal Mint because it was a sure thing for someone who knew little about precious metals and numismatics. Now that I do I now shop at Chards because I can get cheaper swag that I know is legit.

Thanks. I'm looking at goldsilver from the OP. I was just wondering if the issuing country made any difference, but I see UK/Canada/SA coins are just a few cents more, so I'll get those.

You have to shop around. Prices change all the time bar weekends so you will have to figure out when to get stuff as well import taxes and shit. Favourite this link here as it is one of the best live charts for gold and silver. It will keep you up to date if you plan to buy during a dip.

Well, I finally stopped being lazy and made a quick spreadsheet for my junk silver. It's by no means fancy, but it works for me. Also, I don't actually go out of my way for junk, this is just stuff I've picked up over the years for one reason or another.

None of my boats are outside some sort of holder.
Pic related is my best boat. Got it cheaper than I would have otherwise as the case is cracked and the grading company out of business.
