Governments can block and UserInterfaces as they wish
token like USDC and tether can just freeze userfunds
Node provider can block access to userinterfaces.

Whats the point of ethereum anymore and whats next, do they block access to Uniswap and all those clone swaps?

I know the smart contracts cant be blocked, but who says governments wont come up with other shady ways on making the life hard of users.

Like whats the point in making millions in crypto if you cant transfer out user funds, because chinxnance and others blacklist addresses?

>Governments can block and UserInterfaces as they wish
>Node provider can block access to userinterfaces.
You can simply use an alternative unblocked frontend instead, or even interact directly with the smart contract.
>token like USDC and tether can just freeze userfunds
You can simply use decentralized stablecoins like Dai instead.

The point of etherum is to be a safe space for the big boys. They are not creating that space but stealing what was built like a tumor does. Crypto is in its infancy and too weak to show teeth to giants like governments and funds that wants to expand their power, at least for now decentralization will be owned by the biggest until we get a global concensus.
Just wait and see how you will need to have a kyc-ed wallet to simply hold usdc.

Truly decentralized dapps like Dai and Uniswap are open source, including the frontend in the case of Unicode. See https://github.com/Uniswap/interface

That means that you can simply take the code above for the frontend, and run it on your own server/PC, and it would be the same as visiting uniswap's official website, except it cannot be blocked.

Or, as the frontend merely sends interactions with the smart contract, you can manually send those interactions yourself without even needing a frontend, if you are technical enough.

This is like asking if torrents are dead in early 2000's. Learn your history of government fights against decentralization and cryptography - they lose every time. It's not up to the developers to go to jail for you, they build and comply to continue building. The username spins up alternative frontends and accessibility because the backend works just fine. ThePirateBay is still up btw.

Literally got o defisaver.com for an alternative frontends to like every defi protocols worth anything. Alternatively use https://eth95.dev/ to directly load and interact with a smart contract in a baby easy UI.
