I research old claims and walk around looking for evidence of how those dudes lived and even prospect for minerals myself a bit. To me, the most fun part about making art is thinking of a good idea and once I start making it, trying to make it the most entertaining as possible (to myself) while getting all of these other ideas rushing through my head. Another thing is showing it off to friends, enjoying it with them, and seeing their live reactions. I also end up rewatching my shit a lot because I create what I want to see and other people enjoying it is a fantastic bonus. It's fun to go to the comments section of my videos and appreciate other people appreciate your work, even many days after release. it's a gift that keeps on giving imo

And the fanart you get feels like heroin, it just comes to show how much people enjoy your animation that they would recreate some part of it. ( pic related ) And as with all hobbies, making art will open doors to new communities and people to spend time with.

It wasn't until I picked up animation that I realized life truly is short and there isn't enough time to create everything you want to create or to do thing you want to do. It's insane that I just picked this up on a whim and I think about how my life would be so different and empty if I didn't decide to make art that day.
