Holy fucking damnit one of my idiot co-workers introduced a day 1 bug into the company payroll system because he made an incorrect assumption and set the system up to do no testing, so that means we have been possibly mis-paying thousands of employees for YEARS. The company gave them enough shares to split the stock, a forward split creates additional shares out of air. Even if we pretend there isn't 100X float out there that means the DTCC ignored instructions and diluted a companies stock beyond their wishes, aswell as stole shares that were meant to be distributed to retail holders.
