Work is too much work
I'm tired of using my brain
I'm tired of the grind
I don't want to study to learn some new fucking skill set. It's draining as fuck.
I don't want to dedicate hours upon hours for that just to end up in the same spot of hating my job. Shit cycle of hell. Fuck that.
I hate interviews too. They are asinine and demeaning.
I want to quit. Fuck ALL careers. Don't give a fuck how easy a job is. It would still drain me. If there was a job that paid me to nap, I'd STILL hate it.
FUCK. I came close to retirement before multiple times only to go all the way back to my 2018 initial. Next bullrun whatever I have is what I have and I'll retire off of that and the moment I run out of money, I'm fucking killing myself. I'm burned out as FUCK.

Everyone feels like this. Most people can’t make money without degrading themselves in some fashion.
In the end they “suck it up.” The more cattle like you are the easier it is.
However if you have no wife & kids or home your motivation for working should be FUCKING NONEXISTENT

How about homesteading? Your job is literally just staying alive and being as self-sufficient as possible. Doesn't take a crazy amount of money if you're willing to relocate and compromise.

How poisoned is this water?

I think drinking gatorade and juice is probably going to be less healthy than drinking water, even when it's toilet water.

I've considered it.
Software development pays much more but the need to depend on others to get certain tasks done grinds my gears like no other.
All my work feels like it move through molasses at times.

IT over saturated, degrees getting pushed aside in favor of experience, there are hundreds of blue collar or trade jobs that pay as much as an entry level programmer. Nvm the fact that there are literal millions of pajeets and Nigerians that are willing to take your programming job at a fraction of what you want

he doesn't have slave mentality thats just his thing. my dad and his brother love their jobs and working. my dad does WFH and everyday he complains that he "I don't feel lkie working much anymore" but then he also says shit like "i'd be bored without my job" my dad's brother lives for his job he didn't do much else, work and die. I wont be like that. and before you call me "lozer" I got half a mil in crypto

Yeah you feel that way, and yet you still do all that shit, why? because you care more about your perceived social status than you do your own happiness

This.
I am about to start my first job, and I have no love in my life and I deem the chances very slim that I ever will (30 years old and never had a gf or a fling with a girl I actually loved). Also I am priced out of having a home and I am currently in the low 5 figures (after two bullruns, also with a high 5 figure debt), so surmounting any meaningful capital is probably not going to happen either.
I do need to find some motivation from somewhere though, els I will have to sleep in the streets.

Huh? How the fuck are they chill? They work in a fast paced scenario. Also more or less yes. Low 5 figs now when I was well into 6 figs (and technically could have had a mil+ at the peak had I not been a degen scalper in 2018). Makes no sense how you'd assume it's "a little".

No, dumbass. It's because survival costs money. I couldn't care less about prestige
>>50872236
ya, I'm in low 5 figs too now which sucks ass. I learned my lesson though. Holding is a meme. Basically I saw the covid, may, and november crash coming. Next time I see macro weakness, I'm out. Being a perma bull fucked me for years

I've always told people to work in a warehouse. It's comfy work if you don't have delusions of future yacht ownership
