Zoltan Pozsar published a short essay on the effects of the Russo-Ukrainian war and its impact it will have on the global markets, euro/dollar, and the rise of the global south.
A big prediction he made was that he thinks currencies backed by outside money (basket of commodities) will rise and replace the current system and I quote "…and Bitcoin (if it still exists then) will probably benefit from all this."
Let's discuss

Of course, a thread about the direction of currency itself stemming from recent events, and their direct impact to cryptocurrency, is fucking ignored by this shitass board. Let me find some booba or something to stimulate these idiots.

Hayes has been saying the same thing, he also linked to Zoltan's essay.

It's fine there are some who are interested in these things. It's been roughly 5 months since he posted this and of course it may be too soon to confirm anything especially on a macro scale. We have seen inkling such as russia fixing the price of gold to 5,000 rubles per gram, payment of oil and energy solely in ruble, etc. What I enjoy to see is entire countries budding on the idea of using bitcoin as legal tender or having reserves of bitcoin.
Now El Salvador may seem insignificant on the world stage but the fact that this has happened in Bitcoin's short lifetime shows something great.

It would be interesting to have the backing of an asset that cannot be repurposed by military incursions.

Did Zoltan Pozsar explain that all money is created digitally by private banks when they issue loans? If not, his analysis of currencies and currency markets is essentially worthless.
