It does not support PBR textures and shaders
Open source implementations of virtual worlds existed for years (opensim) and they're bleeding money.
Second Life is the biggest name in the virtual world scene and has 50k concurrent players each day, it has a lot of momentum and many people won't leave it until a new virtual world offers them exactly the same amount of content.
There have been second life killers before, they all failed. VR won't change that, since SL's company is already working on a VR virtual world where everyone can have their own land for cheap, called sansar. That is still shit compared to SL but miles ahead of decentraland.
