The merge is a sell the news event isn't it?

Yes, frontrun them and sell now, please!

absolutely
look at the whole market. everything is bouncing. eth isnt even bouncing much harder than everything else. its just an event that people are pricing in as being the psychological tail end of this bounce

Yes. But there is that small likelihood that ETH will just do the unthinkable and fly above ATH.
Are you willing to risk it you dumb frog?

Are you the kind of guy from reddit who dont know wtf is a marketcap?

>> No.50852420

Yes, but still buy back in after initial sell off once a majority of locked stakers have sold out. Will probably 2x due to a high rate of adoption with nonexistent gas fees and then you can sell off again once we see adoption. It makes sense that it would exceed ATH by 10% or thereabouts before a significant retrace. I would then expect a steady climb over the next couple of years as we approach halving as more dapp adoption/development occurs on the chain

the merge won't effect gas fees. you're gonna wait another year or two for sharding.

Sell the newsooors are going to get absolutely buttfucked. The muh environment crypto fud literally disappears overnight. Tens of billions of annual sell pressure disappears, overnight.
This is probably the most significant positive happening in crypto since ETH itself launched. It is a paradigm shift in the general narrative, the final death of some of the fudders most treasured talking points. It's beyond huge.

That will be further out than the merge. You can't get out of the deposit contract at merge time

Of course, the yield will be so diluted, it will converge towards the minimum market rate so probably like 1%

Doesn't change the fact that ethereum fees get more expensive the more people use it lmao.

The merge has been a buy the rumor sell the news in all of its history. Main reason being that it wont do anything. Eth will still be a piece of shit just less decentralised.
