In reality of course most equities are generally undervalued, housing even has room to grow naturally given how under supplied it is in most countries. I would be all in MBS if I wasn't already committed to other plays desu.

I see. So basically it confirms inflation is not simply a consequence of high oil prices but something much more systemic (ie printing money since 2008).
Yet the market has seen low oil prices and taken that as a sign that inflation is under control and the fed will reverse course, scrap QT and resume QE?
Here in Australia property prices appear to be coming down slightly due to rate rises, but not by much, mostly just 'slowed growth' rather than actual inflation.

Who dares wins, I just need proof this isn't an exit rally and I'm down to FOMO into a growing market. I'm not getting fucked by coke fueled euphoria over the cooked CPI.

I have a hard time believing that any post-covid growth in tech is reasonable when most of these companies were already in overpriced clown town Jan. 2020. But if the circus is here to stay I'll pay admission.

>I have a hard time believing that any post-covid growth in tech is reasonable when most of these companies were already in overpriced clown town Jan. 2020. But if the circus is here to stay I'll pay admission.

I agree anon, caution is wise right now. I work for a small tech company (ARR ~10 million), but business is bad, worse than at any stage during covid except maybe that first march. Our q1 and q2 results are down compared to both 2021 and 2020. Management doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that it may be something wrong with the wider economy.
Our main market is government and large businesses, both are being tight with money. I'm assuming this is QT in action, esp with gov.
This is despite us putting prices up, thus actual number of customers acquired is even worse than the revenue data would suggest.
Worse still our costs are up, everyone got salary increases and we hired recently expecting growth at the end of covid, thus revenue growth is stunted but costs are significantly higher. Lucky we have no debt.
If other tech companies that are not profitable are feeling this same pinch, tech is in for some continued correction. Imho we need to see insolvencies before the bottom is can be called.

Thanks anon. Yeah it might be time to start looking. Market is arguably hot right now, but won't be for long.

That's a tough spot to be. I would hope that there might be big corporations you can slide in with for security since tech is everywhere but I am not well versed on that job market. The worst part of being a bear in these times is worrying about all my pals losing their jobs. I'm sure being remotely bearish is even worse when your job is on the chopping block. Good luck.

I think I'm too retarded for a big corp, worked at google for a couple of years its fucked and I hate normies with a passion. If I get fired I have a few hundred k so might just travel for a while and bang some chicks, figure out something interesting to do on this planet.
