>To minimize the risks in the margin market and protect traders' interests, KuCoin will add a new feature – Margin Position Limit at 06:00:00 on August 10, 2022 (UTC).

>Since the launching of the Margin Position Limit, the Margin Risk Limit has included three parts:

>1. Margin Position Limit (newly-added) represents the maximum amount of holding a position for each coin in the Margin account. Users’ holding position for each coin should not exceed its Margin position limit. The system will judge whether it exceeds the Margin position limit in the whole process of transferring, borrowing, and buying in. If it exceeds the coin’s Margin position limit, it will fail to transfer, borrow, and buy the corresponding coin in the Margin market.

>2. Borrowing Limit represents the maximum borrowable amount for each coin in the Margin market. The borrowing amount of each coin that users can borrow can not exceed its borrowing limit. If it exceeds the coin’s borrowing limit, it will fail to borrow the corresponding coin.

>3. Buy-in Limit represents the maximum buy-in amount for each coin in the Margin market. The buy-in amount of each coin that users can buy must not exceed its buy-in limit. If it exceeds the coin’s buy-in limit, it will fail to buy the corresponding coin.
