In April, there were literally ZERO cars sold in Shanghai, their biggest city. China superpower is a meme. They were put into an unsustainable/unproductive growth model, building three bridges to the same location that didn't even warrant one to boost spending. This is a large part of what their whole "zero covid" policy and ridiculously absurd lockdowns have been. They are in a position economically which many countries have reached in the past and ZERO have pivoted from successfully and ALL have fallen precipitously. If things play out and there is no larger coordinated restructuring, the dollar milkshake squeezes China past the brink. You should look at the actual data and stop reading Forbes opinion articles.
