The best part about the GME psyop? EVERYONE HATED GME. EVERYONE. They were overpriced, rude, and ripped you off when trying to sell used games. Just before the squeeze narrative everyone was talking about how evil GME was due to the way they treated employees during the rona.

I made a lot of money from this buying and selling twice and I feel zero sympathy for bagholders and cultists - I have grown to see them as more dangerous to humanity and civilization than the hedgies who psyoped them. Its a weird feeling but I think I now understand a little bit why kikes see us as goyim - literally cattle and sheep to be used. In just a few weeks they completely inverted how people thought and FELT about GME, and did so while convincing the normies and plebs it was all an organic, natural, and grassroots crusade by the little people against the evil bankers. Not only did the sheep believe it, they also internalized and made it a fundamental part of their egoic identification to the point of cultism and life-ruining desicions. The designated transfer agent themselves issued three more shares per existing share to every shareholder of record (DRSed shares) first, then distributed whatever was left over to the DTCC. We don’t know what happened to all these shares issued to the DTCC (but we sure as hell can speculate), but somehow between the DTCC and all the brokers these dividend shares became lost. Furthermore, brokers were intentionally mislead by the DTCC into believing this was a vanilla “stock split”, not a stock split via dividend. So the DTCC committed fraud knowingly. And what’s worse, they committed fraud to international brokers, Canadian brokers, European brokers, South American brokers, etc.

tldr: looks like the dtcc just tried to rug the world but BaFin (german SEC) blew the whistle

Answer: Not all brokers will rug. The small brokers will rug, and vangoy might too. Only DRS'd shares and shares with Chadelity will make it. If you don't think this is the case, then either you have very little shares with ComputerShare or your broker is elsewhere not Fidelity.
The optimal setup is 50% Fidelity and 50% ComputerShare. If, for some reason, you can NOT have your shares with Fidelity, then you should go full CS:GO

I don't think brokers will "rug" for exactly the reason you mention. I DO think it's possible some brokers will stop you from selling your synthetic shares until they're able to secure you a real one to sell, which could lead to troublesome trading restrictions during unprecedented volatility. Brokers that are internally long on GME might be safe from this sort of thing, but even that's iffy.

1. GS issued a notice of corporate action for a 4:1 stock split via dividend, or "splividend"
2. this action results in each shareholder as of the record date to receive 3 additional shares for each share held
3. GS gave the green light to CS to do it
4. CS issued the splividend shares to DRS clients first, then sent the balance to the DTCC for distribution to book/street holders
5. the kerfuffle which has got everybody's panties in a bunch is that the DTCC told everyone to execute the corporate action as a share split, as opposed to issuing the shares from those left over by CS
6. neither the splividend nor the split results in a material change on a holder's balance sheet (total $ remains the same), which is kind of misleading because a dividend does and is a taxable event
7. proceeding via a stock split instead of issuing shares as dividend would presumably allow the DTCC to avoid "running out" of shares -- avoiding a potentially disastrous paper trail that could lay out a fraudulent tableau the which has never been seen on this planet
8. everyone, including CS, is absolutely fucking confused at wtf is going on, finger pointing has begun
9. (speculation) this is working as intended by the GS board to turn on the lights on a very opaque situation

They also have more than enough assets under management and free cash to CFD to pretty much any price, even complete and total meme numbers. Brokers and banks are pissed at how this is unfolding. They have a lot of money. They use some of this money to pay people to come shit in this street. Lately they've been escalating things beyond basic street shitting to various and sundry tactics of intimidation, probably have someone in a janitor position although there's no real way to confirm that, and have taken things to the extreme.
