It's called 'fantasy' for a reason. Tolkien wasn't just writing an archaically styled tale of morality, justice, and fellowship towards your friends, family, and country. He was writing a mythological genesis story for England. Mythology is almost never completely grounded in reality.

I dont know about 5 but just thinking about it, Sauron did what he did because he wanted to have order or something like that, but he then got things twisted, Aragorn lived most of his life in hiding ashamed about his heritage, and in doubt about what he was capable of.
In the end he stepped out of the shadow and gained the courage to lead and win the war, courage that was given to him by, probably watching the hobbits and their resillience.
