Devaluing the dollar is always the easiest solution. This temporary strength is a trap. The Fed cannot outvote congress, so it our government (and our country) wants inflation then that's what we'll get.

Bobos are always fighting a losing battle because they're effectively going leveraged long on US dollars. Literally the worst trade possible to make. Unless you've got a pair trade for you're short, your just setting yourself up to get rolled.
Shorting TSLA seems decent, but not in a vacuum. There must also be a matching long play. AAPL is infinitely valuable until/unless their app store gets anti-trust. Since our government is incapable and uninterested in doing that, I find it hard to justify ever being short apple.

you don't understand these. the floating rate portion is about 9% right now, and the fixed-rate portion is ZERO. if you're dumb enough to take on 30 years of duration, as if you could predict in today's context where these will go after even 3 months or 3 years, then be my guest -- but you are throwing away the current floating portion when you wait.
you can only lock in the fixed portion. if these are a good idea at all, then that implies inflation remains high, which means it's not going to go up ever again.

I'm keen on buying some SMR myself. It offers a unique product within the uranium space. However, looking at the daily charts show signs of the "asset bubble" pattern as the market is trying to all jump into it. I'm certain it will retrace, but I have no idea where or when. I wouldn't fomo into it, but it also wouldn't hurt to average into a position too.
If it reversed tomorrow, it would likely retrace into the 11.50-13.00 range. But it might keep going. Right now, it broke 2SDs on the bbands, though it has an embedded RSI. It can't keep going, and in fact if it has another long green candle in a day or two, probably worth considering a short once the top is established for two sessions.
I don't see a lot of options on it either, so that's telling me smart money isn't involved yet.

In the meantime, there's probably no play because I doubt there's any shortseller share availability, and even if there is, the fees would be extreme enough to negate the whole upside. I don't think it's possible to explain fundamentally. It's the magic of how supply/demand works for shares. Doesn't always have to make sense - as long as there's some bidder bidding up higher. I think the Elliott involvement is a big factor at this point.
