I still think if you hold xxx shares and have a portion with a broker, you should set a sell at the highest possible limit they allow. Limit sells seem to get factored into risk calculations which in turn have to be factored into lending fees.

I set a 60 day limit sell on a single share and every day recheck to see if I can 'bump up' and adjust the limit sell. They can always push the maximum back down, but once you lock in a new ceiling they can't change it if the price of the stock were to drop. Think of it like a ratchet that only tightens. You have to stay on top of it though and retest the upper limit every day.

They are stopping options from doing what happened in Jan '21 but controlling the price of options to be moot. The problem they have is if the price is low we buy more and DRS, if the price is high they get margin called. Options can push them into the no-no zone by forcing them to deliver shares they don't have. The dark pools are likely dry as thats how they delivered the dividends without the price running up on lit exchanges. An options gamma ramp would utterly fuck them. So they internalize the buys, send sells to the lit and manipulate it to collect the premiums and prevent a gamma ramp. It is literally "just one more day bro...."
