There will not be another "cycle". Best case scenario for you faggots is that it does one final limp dick pump to 30-40k before it slowly fades into irrelevance.

I agree that there won't be another cycle (the last one was hardly a cycle anyway, it took 4 years to 3x previous ath).

But I don't see it plummeting either, I think it's more likely that bitcoin is going to be more stable because of having been adopted so much and everyone anticipating both pumps and dumps buying and selling earlier and earlier.

The real question is if we'll have another bubble for alts, ntf, metaverse bullshit or another meme. With the current economy and normies getting scammed by their favourite influencers it might not happen for a while.

Maybe alts with an actual use case are going to shine this time.

>Because historically the US military has assfucked anybody who doesn't use it to trade oil
But the US' global military hegemony is gone. They can't even lift a finger to save their puppet state Ukraine. The Saudi Prince practically humiliated Biden for the whole world to see last summit. Iran is giving less and less fucks about the sanctions. The UAE is siding with the Davos people over the US. Even Israel is distancing itself away from its loyal dog. And yet, despite all of that, the dollar remains and will continue to remain the world's reserve currency, simply out of convenience. Bitcoin already has copycats made by central banks (CBDCs), they know what the value of a digital currency is. It's here to stay and it's not going anywhere.

>> No.50675326

Problem with basing your hegemony on being a murderous scam and a bully, is that after year ~2000 everyone and their daughter has a smartphone that takes pictures and videos on the spot even on the worst shithole on earth, and good luck convincing your daughter that you were right to murder kids like her on other countries.

Why do low iq subhumans always talk about the US dollar being backed by the military? Do you subhumans ever try to use that smooth brain of yours? The strength and ubiquity of the dollar has absolutely nothing to do with the us army and everything to do with the us economy , the fed and other US institutions. Honestly I’m so tired of you subhumans why can’t you just all kys instead of repeating this shit and making other low iq subhumans repeat it.

When the US pulls out of regions like Afghanistan, the vacuum is filled with entities like the Taliban. All governments are corrupt. That is the nature of power. However, as far as governments go, despite its flaws, the US is one of the better governments that exist. It's not perfect, but it's far from evil. It was founded on the basis of self reflection, and it warns, in it's own constitution, about the corruption of power.

FIAT currencies are meant to be spent. You should not hoard it, but invest it into stocks, bonds, gold etc besides a small emergency fund. With bitcoin you are forced to hold, because it does not work as a currency. Our society would implode in a few days if we would go to a bitcoin standard.

Problem is, if it is obvious that there will be no more ATH in the long term, most of the money (speculation money) will go out. So 99% of the liquidity will go out once it is clear that the 'going up forever' crowd is wrong. Price will go back to 100$ and crypto is niche again. Thats the problem when 99% of money only is in there to chase returns and not the fundamentals.

I’m curious what the purpose of being a bear is, to this extent? I get shorting, I get slurping the dip, I get understanding when an asset is overbought, but what’s the point of wishing for the literal end of BTC? Is it just to be le edgy 4chan contrarian?

Bulls fantasize about another opportunity to reach their ATH and this time, cash out on top. Every pump gets their adrenaline going and makes them throw their money in thinking that "this is the beginning of the moon rocket ride".

Correct. People too blind to see it make me sad. I'm just shorting as much liquidity out of it and select alts every single day (not like I got anything else to do).

I'm also actually staking a few shitcoins (VINU being the one I have the most faith in) hoping for a few more pumps I can dump before it's all over for good. I expect this crypto shit to be driven to the ground completely in the next 5 years

Ok then just think for a minute logically and stop being retarded
>CBDC wholesale rollout starts in 3-5 years
>gov would also want to embed a digitsl currency to track and disable peoples money just for lulz
>Make people want a digital currency
How you ask?
>destabilize paper money even more
>make paper bills worthless
>show that CBDCs are more stable and superior
And how can this be achieved?
>printing infinite amount of money
Fortunately money printing results in money being transfered into markets.
Or how do you think a digital currency will be rolled out without a major civil unrest?
