Whenever bad things happen in my life, I'll figure out some time later that it was actually a good thing in hindsight, and there was a reason it happened. It's happened on more than one occasion and I do believe there is a higher force in this universe, call it God or Creator or whatever name you want to put to it, but that force exists and it does work for good.
