They're retarded is what they meant. German brokers split the shares of GME they owned to try and cover the stock split dividend issuance. This obviously didn't work and was a desperation play and was found out by German GME stockholders trying to direct register their shares post-issuance. The brokers were forced to delete the shares they fraudulently created lest their anuses be resized forcefully and without lube, and will now have to go into the market to purchase shares to cover their obligations. They are not the only brokers that did this. iBroker did it as well, and we'll find out who else did in the coming weeks. This is also why holding anything more than a handful of shares with a broker is in my opinion retarded, as there is no way to prove they actually hold your shit, and you're simply trusting they'll have enough money to cover the difference from when you bought to whatever you sell at without them force closing your position and telling you to get fucked because you agreed to it and technically a broker owns all shares they hold as they are all held in street name and are not actually assigned to that brokers customers.

Most German banks (Sparkasse, Volksbank etc.) are not allowed to act as brokers, so they work with dwpbank and Clearstream, which is why the whole thing is pretty much centralized.
dwp / clearstream holds the shares (they literally can't lend them out) and received the divvy.
They inform the banks but mark as a stock split instead of a divvy because they are idiots.
Yesterday, they apparently notices their mistake (which only is a mistake in Germany because of their tax laws) and try to fix it by "removing" the shares from the "split" and then re-issue them with the divvy label.
Most people - on TraitorRepublic, for example - have already received the relabeled shares, the other will get them on Monday.
That's the whole story, it's a dumb labeling / tax issue. If it wasn't, all international or at least EU banks had this problem, not Germans exclusively.

When I checked in 30 minutes later, she was dialed in to the program.

Jon was repeating the same shit I have been trying to tell her for a year, breathing life and legitimacy into it. He made it entertaining and palatable. He kept referencing the "apes" with love and excitement in his voice, the same way I talk about you guys.
