It IS a recession, but recessions are now bullish as we already priced it in and are now pricing in rate cuts + QE. The market is moving faster and more forward thinking than it was in 2008 when the last recession occurred.

This time aint different bobo, this time is exactly the same. The same as 2020. Everything rallies from here now no matter what. Fuck knows whats causing it. It hindsight in 2020 it was the fed printing trillions and pumping it into the stock market. At the time it made no sense but now its obvious why we pumped. In 2 years we will look back at this and say, yeah we were pumping because if x y z obviously.

I say this all as someone holding 100% cash right now, just like i did until capitulating in August 2020. Wonder how much longer until I capitulate again.

Basically I am 99% sure the bull run is back on and i have no idea why

If you look at the great recession, it was declared in Q1 2009 (started Q2-Q3 2008). The stock market bottomed at the end of Q1 2009. If that timeline tracks we are either at the bottom or very close to the bottom.

Why are people comparing to 2008 bottom when there is no wall st bank demise or mass layoffs/liquidity crisis? Maybe wait for a chinky bank collapse and the fallout from that, then you have a comparable to 2008 situation.
