A few days ago a femoid billionaire bought 900K ASEs. Considering there's less than 62 million left in the COMEX it's a sign the whales are watching carefully. My guess is that most are expecting a more significant price drop before they buy in and claim their share.
Jews are on trial for spoofing metals, but don't expect much from it, they'll get fined a million bucks and be back at by the next business day.

>Or did she buy anything other than ASE's?

Bill Holter as an agent for Miles Franklin landed the whale client. Holter advocates only getting US legal tender precious metals, specifically junk silver and pre-33 numismatic gold, and may have influenced the woman. She bought ASEs, some pre-65 constitutional including silver dollars, and pre-1933 gold coins, no modern gold bullion or anything not made in the USA. Allegedly she wanted Andy & Co. to tell everyone that a billionaire is buying in, and that the $50mil was just a test order, with at least 6 more $50mil orders coming in the next 6 months.

>> No.50537685

>>50537546
The only reason to buy that many ASE is if you expect a COMEX default within a month and want silver now (otherwise you could simply stand for delivery for 900 contracts next month, at spot). Or more likely, you expect a normie run on silver and a minting squeeze.

>> No.50537876

>>50537753
>Why does Holter advocate only for US coins?

His old boomer take is that OG US legal tender is both more practical for Americans and much safer from hypothetical confiscation by an insolvent government. If I had my way 90% silver coins would still be at a discount to spot and I would have converted all my bullion to Scrooge-tier jinglesacks, hard to justify the premiums these days though.

>> No.50538060

>>50537812
Those reasons would make sense if the billionaire was targeting the lowest premium bullion, but since she was specifically interested in US minted legal tender she clearly has interest in stacking credible tax-exempt and true numismatic "money" for practical domestic use. That could simply be the work of Holter convincing her that it's the best form of PMs, but maybe she got insider info and arrived at the decision independently.

Buying two kilos will cost 20 bucks more than six 10 ounce bars, but give you 4 extra ounces, that's pretty much 3 free ounces.

>>50538369
Might be worthwhile if you're going long term, it will take time to build up customers and actually sell the product. All you need is a cheap furnace, a kilo of silver, and a bucket of water. Not sure about the legal requirements for Canadian silver but that set is indeed plated, Meridian almost exclusively produced plated wares and the few Sterling pieces they made were stamped "STERLING". 975 is a style/model or inventory number and has nothing to do with the fineness. Good looking out but a good bet for finding cheapies is locating stuff marked Sterling that is listed in silly categories without mentioning it in the title or even called plated in the title when the markings all say sterling, doing targeted searches in descriptions in certain categories can yield juicy fruit if I haven't beaten to to it.

Exactly this. The “silver is silver” meme is plain wrong. Telling people to “buy weight” is a terrible stacking strategy. The bulk of your stack should NOT be cheap rounds. It should be coins with 10oz+ bars mixed in to bring down your cost average. There is almost never a reason to buy cheap rounds when Roos or Brits or krugs are marginally more expensive than silvertown shit. For those that remember, that used to also be the case for maples and even eagles.

Honestly I've thought of doing it too, I probably would have done so by now to buy gold and more guns if I wasn't such a sentimental bastard, since like you said the market is unreal right now. The worse that could happen is if it appreciates even MORE but I can't consider that a dumb thing by any means. Would you consider the people that sold Bitcoin when it was $10,000 dumb just because they didn't magically know it would have an all-time high of $60,000 (when it's back to sub $20,000 again, lmao)

I'm really only not selling it because I legitimately love the hobby. I would lose a lot without this. I only very recently considered myself a "collector" because I took a step back and said "Well I'm pretty sure someone who goes for rare variants games, tries to get every entry of a particular series, gets protective media for his boxes and cartridges, has multiple collector's guides, and knows enough about collecting that he can even spot the mistakes in the collector's guides made for other collectors would he himself be considered a collector"

Like look at this. I love Wario games. The Japanese version of Wario World was desirable to me because not only is the final boss improved in this version alone, but the box looks like a gold bullion bar! Even the portion of the slipcover spine that's white is kept in the yellow gold color for this game alone! I wouldn't find out about that just by having a folder of roms on my PC. If I "just" survival max with precious metals, dried food and guns what am I living for, anyway? To eat in a corner? I'm buying PMs so that when shit gets bad I have a chance to still enjoy the one life I get. I don't have to be a decadent faggot to do so like the reddit types, just learn the balance.

I use Wildwinds for identification. I buy only uncleaned coins, cleaning them and identifying them soothes my 'tism.
First I soak them in distilled water, then scrub with a soft toothbrush and toothpicks.
If there's bronze disease, I use a 1% solution of sodium sesquicarbonate for about a month. After that soak, I do 3 quick two day distilled water soaks. Air dry.
Picrel is a bronze that had bronze disease (contact with chloride ions). The patina was removed, but it won't disintegrate anymore)

maybe im just a good goyim, but production costs that get folded into the premium are fairly static. The energy cost to run a forge doesn't change with silver spot price. shipping doesn't change. the price of food a dealer needs to put on the table doesn't change. You're likely to see higher percentages on premiums with lower spot.

Prices tend towards the highest level at which the entire stock can be cleared. If a LCS can clear his stock of silver at a 30%, 40%, 50% premium, that is what he will charge. When he starts to see his inventory stacking up, he will lower the price. Why should he operate on any different basis than this? The BRICS have now confirmed what we speculated: they are going to launch a currency to compete with the USD as the world's trade and reserve currency. So how are they going to get a world habituated to the dollar to consider something else? By making it better. More stable. More firmly anchored in real value. Less susceptible to political whim and weaponization. They can't do it with their existing currencies. The answer is gold.

The BRICS are well-supplied with gold. It is the one thing of value they all have in common. It has historical credibility. It was what put the USD in the driver's seat to begin with. It is easier to manage than some phony basket of commodities.

The remonetization of gold is at hand, folks.

Just don't buy it
I haven't bought any silver since 2017 and it looks like prices might hit those points
The more demand falls the better
I'm just hoping the jews start dumping their paper because I refuse to buy any more stacking silver for more than $10 + premium

>You can try to buy cheap sterling from dumbass boomers on ebay if you want, apparently some people have success doing that

Yeah the bitching about premiums is gay, there is nothing stopping anyone from stacking $10 ounces right now. I just dropped off 13.35 kilograms of cheapie boomerscrap sterling at the refinery today, I'm having them make me a bunch of 10oz loaves. I'll take a pic in ~3 weeks when they're ready to be picked up, should have another 20kg or so of sterling to drop off then plus a little gold. I want to have 1000oz in just 10oz PG&G handpours, that should make for a sweet looking pyramid.

I've ordered from Scottsdale a few times now to the tune of about 80oz. I usually get my silver in about three weeks. This is the first time I haven't emailed them "jokingly" asking them if I was going to have my order soon. I'll be the squeaky wheel on Wednesday if my order is still processing by then.

Could it be that pre 1933 gold is different than after? What happened here? If they are billionaires, they just want to get stacks ASAP, it is a race without causing panic. Glad she is letting us know it is on now. It was only a few buyers that made the price go up in the 2019/2020 time. Only $20,000,000,000 of silver globally each year. Thats 1,000 millionaires doing $2 million each. So 1 billionaire just got %0.2 of the global silver supply in 1 purchase. And she will get 5 more? thats 1% or so. get it while you can

You're basically admitting how fragile you are, someone popped the fantasy bubble you were in by pointing out what others are too afraid to.
The way you clowns so quickly jumped to believe what some retard silver dealer told you about some unverified sale tells me all I need to know about how badly you faggots want copium.

I actually own silver but I'm not interested in some dumb bitch billionaire giving the price a quick pump so I can dump my bags. I'm planning to hold it long-term. You people are crypto baggies in your mentality. Even if you own silver your low IQ thinking hasn't and won't change.

I've sold 100oz silver bars. No drilling, no cutting, no testing. LCS guy took one look and wrote me a check. And any LCS guy worth his salt has picrel or better. People seem to forget that gold and silver have been money for 3000 years. Do you imagine it is rocket science to detect fraud? The only real question is what to do when you catch a scam artist. I recommend the Isaac Newton.

Uganda is essentially a criminal enterprise pretending to be an actual nation. Nothing they say can be trusted.. They have a recent history of "salted" claims. They are a war-torn shithole country where no enterprise of any complexity can be undertaken for any length of time. And even if the claim was true and could be exploited, the amount of gold would be an insignificant contribution to the world supply.

31 million tonnes of ore grading over 10 kilos a tonne, 1000x richer than existing profitable high grade mines "verified" by helicopter survey and voodoo rituals but certainly not oppressive colonialist core drilling makes it BS.
