So I got 2 channels right now. One being a very old one where I post some personal video in the travel/virtual tour niche. I don’t plan on it popping off. It’s more of a hobby channel.
The other one is a new channel where I post art/tech shorts. I’m thinking I could try and make this blow up. But the problem is I’m still not so sure about what niche to pick. I guess I have a decent sounding voice so I could do some narrations. I don’t want this channel to end up as a “jack of all trades” type. Want to bind it to a single niche and go from there.

Our "niche" is filming and uploading high quality bands full sets Its mostly metal atm since thats really the only scene were connected in. Although this is mostly side stuff until the app gets made. I don't know. There's many channels that upload like once every 2 or 3 months with good views. It's just so fucking unpredictable. What seems to matter is to get blockbuster megahits everytime so they bring in passive traffic. Of course faglords like penguiz0 can crap videos daily and get millions of views but most likely if you upload often the videos are crap because it's impossible to make good quality content if you constantly upload shit. Sometimes i'll work on a video for a long time and the algorithm doesn't pick it up and I want to jump off a tall building. Hard work doesn't always pays off, luck is required, so have luck. But again, the most lucrative channels are probably those with a cult following, so it's basically one guy with millions of followers, sitting on his ass crapping low effort videos daily. But chances are you can't keep a good retention like that.

No-damage boss compilations, 100% walkthroughs, etc. I picked no-commentary because you can capture audiences from all around the globe. If you narrate your videos in English you only capture English speaking market, whereas with no-commentary everyone can watch and enjoy.

Also because when I was younger I always looked for no-commentary videos, never liked someone narrating over gameplay.

All the channels in my particular niche are still monetized and doing fine so it's not particularly difficult to keep afloat, I might've just happened to get unlucky with the person reviewing my channel and deciding to demonetize it. We'll see.

Buying the advertising from Google has helped me a little bit. It's almost impossible to find anywhere to advertise your videos (I make animations) where you won't get called out for self-promotion. I can't churn out weekly animations unfortunately but the advertising does okay. Price is reasonable per click.

The comment I always see that makes me want to go on a rampage is:

“Whoever is reading this, I hope you have a blessed day and that whatever you’re going through gets better”

It’s the most obvious grift for some attention as if they actually give a shit about anyone but themselves.
The fucking glib cocksuckers who act all gay and positive like that are the lowest of the low in my book.

None yet. The launchpad isn't live yet so no IMOs have been held. But it should go live soon.
