they cut trimmed the fat and pay less money to roster members. the saudi deal isn't accounted for in the billions from fox and NBCU, that's an additional billion over 3 years on top of the TV deals. On top of the ridiculous deal they signed with peacock for streaming rights.

If you want a full season of WWF from the prime time early 90s it's literally hundreds of dollars and can barely be found.
I don't know how they are missing out on making this money.

My four year old absolutely went nuts watching Bret Hart face the British Bulldog as the first match he ever watched.
Bulldog got Bret on a quick roll up. The usual way the favorites have to lose.

My friend said he stepped down as CEO but was staying on as creative director or something and came out to the ring and gave a big speech. Wonder if his decision to just retire is related to whatever controversy is going on.

Because I've seen ads for it and know what it is? Every network pretty much has their own streaming platform now. Disney, Discovery channel, etc.

no you don't get it anon it's bad because you don't actually own the hundreds of thousands of hours of pro wrestling footage you will never watch a second time in your entire life. for it to be good you need to pay hundreds of dollars for worse quality copies that will sit on your shelf forever.

They don't have the full seasons. They cut out a lot of stuff that is now considered controversial. They have tried to cut Hulk Hogan and Chris Benoit episodes especially.

>> No.50514708

Vince is a great businessman, but I can barely watch his product. WWE is so beyond pozzed now. AEW is at least bearable when they aren't pushing trans wrestlers. The world is just a different, gayer place and I long for original ECW ('00 and earlier) insanity and storytelling. It's all so fucking boring now.

they have never cut either benoit or hogan. you're either misinformed or lying. they don't tag benoit matches but you can still see every match he has on there. hogan was never taken off the network he was just taken off of their hall of fame website for a few years.

Yes and no. In some ways, it seems like zoomers are more about ownership. Well, digital ownership, NFTs, Steam, etc.
Kind of a cultural shift from torrenting everything. They want to feel like the stuff they download actually belongs to them.

Are you retarded?
He's the greatest heel of all time only comparable to Rick Flair.
It's possible that he's hurting them lately as I haven't watched in awhile. But no way he's been bad for it for two decades.
Probably more likely that the zoomer audience can't handle someone as based as McMahon.

>> No.50516038

Yes, great episode and zoomers are only productive in the sense that they are trying to use them to vote freedom away. They will be expendable in about ten years 100%.
>>50515772
Unless you have a physical copy, it ain't yours.
I constantly hear zoomers trying to find how to watch something free and it makes me wonder how they can be so inept and so clever at the same time.
BACK IN MYYYYY DAY we all knew how to get something free and we ALL burned it straight to DVD or CDROM.
Every friend of mine was downloading everything from everywhere on one computer and burning it the instance they had it on the other for hours on end every night.
Zoomers somehow, by and large, don't know how to do this.

that's not because they're brainwashed by digital ownership you retard it's because it's a lot more convenient to just google "watch south park free online" and lick a link than it is to torrent and burn it. you couldn't stream back in those days anyway with the garbage internet speeds for video. stop larping retard. streaming became big because it became possible to stream without downloading shit.

And where are those CD-Roms now?
For me, it was all about digital media libraries. Being your own streaming service with terabytes of hard drives packed with shit. When rapidshare and jdownloader were prime.
Then those terabytes of data became a pain to sort through, some cuck companies tried to make me use their service but they always were buggy. And eventually I stopped doing it. And the collections became old and dated and I deleted lots.
Now I have 1tb maybe of some classic movies and music. And just stream.
It was always about finding convenience. However now streaming has become splitand shitty I am going back to torrents.

>> No.50516880

I have witnessed these "watch free" sites and they are shit shows and filled with god knows what on the backend. Zoomers are technologically inept and welcome their digital overlords.
>>50516762
Yea, well I have some of them. Now that I'm older and have money I've just bought the real DVDs for cheap because you can find them and no one wants them.
Point taken.
My point is mostly that zoomers seem intent on taking only what is handed to them and nothing more.
