i work in accounting and have worked with logistics managers in the past. it doesn't seem too bad. my advice would be to aim for a corporate analyst type job, which is less stressful and would likely allow you to work from home. you do NOT want to be in an operations role for a logistics company or for the distributions side of a company. doing so will basically amount to being the middle man whipping boy, absorbing the wrath of corporate finance and accounting because your $15-20/hour warehouse wagies are constantly fucking up and making life a living hell.

Advice on what skills you need for the corporate analyst job / what are the titles?

search for supply chain analyst and read the job description carefully to avoid operations hell. probably just entry level excel skills. know how to manipulate strings (concatenate, trim, search, etc.), how to use functions like vlookup and sumif, how to create and modify pivot tables, understand how to summarize and executize data. they can teach you anything else on the job, like how to use their ERP software or how to use more advanced analytics tools like power BI or whatever.

depends on what youre good at and what college degree you got

If you're an engineer type then you'll probably find it boring. If you're an accounting nerd type then maybe
