Unless you've been in it since 2019 you've just been losing money. And if you HAVE been in it since 2019 or earlier you missed out on bigger gains in pretty much literally anything else.
>y-you don't get it anon, it's the most manipulated asset on earth and market makers will NEVER let it moon!
oh, ok, I won't buy any then.

Silver is fucking worthless. It's literally dumped 90% since last year and won't stop any time soon. The thing about silver is that there's more than 100x as much in the ground as there is gold (which is also worthless), and its "industrial uses" are massively overrated because copper outclasses it for any conceivable use. Silver is going to zero, you'll be able to get it for free off of craigslist soon enough if you're willing to go clean it out of dejected stackers' houses and transport it away. Furthermore, asteroid mining operations will be up and running by 2030 and they will QUADRUPLE the supply.

If you are playing a game where you can invest your money every year and have an expected rate of return of 12% but every once in a while there is a risk of 100% loss, should you just play the game with all your money? Or do you take some out and store it in a safe haven asset?

No one on this board advocates going 100% into silver or gold. 5-10% of your wealth is great, if everything else gets wiped out you will be ahead of most people afterwards.

What i never can understand is why people take the time to write shit like this about something that literally affects them in no way whatsoever. Honest question...why does it matter if someone you'll never meet buys something they want to own?

you could say the same about any joke ever. people find all sorts of random stuff funny, and i happen to find the silver memes funny (also probably have too much free time and should find a better hobby desu). don't get me wrong, I don't think this is some groundbreaking comedic genius or anything, and you're free to collect something if it makes you happy.

Hearty kek, sir.
Respectfully though, silver isn't for SHTF it only value in scenario like that is barter at best, it's truly for currency revaluation and great resets.
Remember, stackers are counting on things going poorly and not in our favor because no one seems to care anymore.

Not going to happen. If it were we'd be doing it already. In 04 I heard everyone say we'd be asteroid mining in 2010. Your leaders won't let that happen, they want you glued to this rock.

Bro look at it as insurance. You gotta have it but don't spend to much on it. If the dollar goes tits up, all other fiat does as well. Silver protects against that unlikely scenario. So put 5-10% of your portfolio into metals but for God sake don't put more than that

I've been buying since 2004 but I agree with you. Qt first it was to protect against a crash. But 2008 showed me its not good for that unless it's the FINAL crash. But I keep stacking.

you stock brass for times when food is a problem and gold for when paper is a problem.
>>50482999
But in general, things tend to stay organized and calm enough for paper to be the main thing you'd worry about.
