Probably not. If you're in college just get a bike. I biked all throughout college and it was great. Only had a car because my dad paid for the costs other than gas but I biked everywhere and it kept me in great shape and was fun. I miss it.

Being mobile is essential. Sometimes an opportunity might arise for work, and you’ll miss out if you can’t get their reliably. People will simply not consider you an adult if you can’t even drive yourself to the grocery store or work. You people don’t simply “take the bus or uber”. Every single time you make any plans with people who can drive, we are forced to offer you a ride just so you don’t literally get left behind like a helpless child.
