Any tips for us retail apes trying to trade volatility/theta decay. I'm selling the OTM short strangle on SPY every day but I'm thinking about switching to selling longer dated options for more theta decay. I struggle with blowing my load too soon which gets me stuck in positions with shitty cost basis when if i would have waited, I could average up and or sell options with better probability. Also doesnt help that my underlying SPY position is at a $462 cost basis.

I don't trade pm's but i can confirm that there are other traders from other investment banks that work together to perform coordinated attacks, and this is one of the reasons btc spot etf keeps getting rejected because they can tank btc in a single attack due to it's relatively low market cap.
And guess what no one will go to jail !!!

Anyway if your still around OP. There's a girl that I know that works at JP. I've been trading derivatives for years and soon gonna start my own prop trading firm with the uni lads. Just wondering about compliance really. Planning to propose to her. But if there's some compliance issue. Ill go with option 2.

do you mean they can tank BTC as it stands right now, or that if the BTC ETF gets approved, they can tank it using the ETF?

How efficient is the pricing on low volume options? Could a retail investor make money with hft and arbitrage on such options?
Also, what are your thoughts on investment strategies using long term itm calls in lieu of traditional leverage?

Why specifically do you manipulate metals? What is to gain from that? You could be manipulating a million other assets and nobody would care. Is it done to keep consumer prices down? Also, roughly what % people who work with you are jews or freemasons (or both)?
