First make a few assumptions:

(keep the pos under a tarp so the neighbors won't get offended; govt don't care if it runs or not merely the fact you own it). Ok so that leaves 2500 a month to live from (or "pretend" to). The other loophole. Govt scans your account the S.S.I check goes into end of each month to ensure your not faking anything. Account goes over 2500 and bye bye check/benefits. You can get around this by merely dumping cash into another bank located several states away. Geography is key. Anything close to your location would be picked up by the scan. So keep your main account under 2500 at all times and stuff the other as much as you want.
