Dating apps suck for girls in a different way. When you get hundreds of literal retards blowing up your inbox, especially as a hot girl, a lot of those girls just give up and delete the apps. Spending isn't going down the issue is people have less income due too inflation for spending and are forced to rely on credit more in order to continue their life styles. >Average credit card debt per household was calculated by dividing U.S. credit card debt in 2022 ($841 billion) by the most recent number of households taken in 2021 (129.93 million).

They are using sunk cost fallacy to their advantage. Dating apps focus on facial aesthetics and men lie about their height and income. So you get a guy who is 5'10" saying he is 6' and another guy saying he makes 200k, but he only nets 80k. By the time women figure this out they are already invested.

Also, if the guy gives them herpes they will have their self esteem ruined and might stay because they fear having to tell someone they have it.

I'm a former zog bot. A good inflatable pad and in cold weather two sleeping bags. No matter where you are in the entire planet you only need one -20 sleeping bag at most right now. Have a bivy bag. Have a cotton liner on the inside of the sleeping bag. A good alternative is a 100% cotton sheet folded in half and sewn.

With a tarp overhead, use bungee cords for rapid set up and tear down. See picture related. You can fit that in a "compression sack" and you will be good up to -5C (23 burger f).
To survive -20c (-4 burger f) you will need a second sleeping bag and another tarp. Highly recommend you use a naptha (or any lantern that consumes fuel in the tent).

There has been a "Fintech Revolution" in recent years. Venture capital funds gave Fintech companies lots of money and valued them higher than "legacy" financial companies like Visa and Mastercard. The idea is these new fintech companies will disrupt these old companies. They make money by being psuedo banks/Credit card companies that lend to anyone....turns out Visa MA AXP are all capable of adapting to new payment methods and lending schemes too and the Fintech revolution is a dub. But V MA AXP valuations got a lot lower than they should have due to this trend

Fintech has large margins in theory because its just moving digital bits around and charging fees on top of it (fixed or otherwise). It is also appealing as ESG washing since a database server has a minimal carbon footprint compared to, say, a steel foundry or oil refinery.
The problem is that VCs have become largely stupid from the era of easy money and desperate to find places for their debt leveraged cash.
Visa, Amex, etc. are all perfectly fine with integrating new technologies and still absolutely shit on all crypto so hard and so effortlessly that only truly vaporware shitcoins even try to take about transaction speed disruption anymore.
Buy now, pay later is just the latest trend of trying to "get in early" on fintech when everyone with decent credit health and finances can just use the more traditional services. It is only the subprime debtors that require "new tech" to get back into taking out more debt. But they are in that mess because they are awful to have as counterparties. So that "untapped" market lures in retard VC resources that disintegrates when lending gets at all tighter.
This is also somewhat related to why "banking the unbanked" is only ever uttered by the truly stupid or cynical.

Get a state govt job. Can't get fired (unless you try to that is), easy work, benefits, decent pay, early retirement. Ex: Me, started in 2005. Full retirement is option in 2031 or I can stick it out till 2036 to max things out. Either option I'd still be way under the typical age 65. Kicking back from then on getting a check for life along with a fat 401k,medical and a fat brokerage account.

>heres my final (for now take on btc), and what has happened
to hold $3.045 in BTC as/in $ it has costed me 0.50 $ more (so that it keeps as the same amount of satoshi coins, about 1640.0 satoshis) as the price of bitcoins has risen and so ive put in 3.50
i could have taken out the coins on multiple occasions to get 100-150 more satoshi coins
>this has been 50 days or so of testing
>these two points is from buying BTC at 20K and making profit when the value goes down
>i would have bought BTC at 16K the first time it dipped, and then at 18K the other day
( ^ ) BTC is not a very good investment. the "gas" fees are too high and i cant properly drip-feed pennies into this $3 investment and it has taken so much mental money mathematics to get that 0.50 $ into there that this BTC would have to stay for 2 years before this was even paid off, and then another 1 year to make the first year of those 2 years paid off
i would have also sold already to take out the BTC at i think 22K from buying at 20K (i had made about $0.40 on the $1.80 or so(?))

i will also never get this money because
>BTC wallets need ID now (?), what the fuck
>the gas fees are too high and would take most of this $3 from me to get it to where i had found $6 in BTC
ive learned from this, that, i buy/sell "too"-early but i think that thats a strength
im stopping now because ive started seeing patterns in the chart which you guys do, and i dont want to be like that (with your buzzwords which are silly)

BTC is absolutely pathetic!

You are actually really lucky to start investing at this time. Your experience getting screwed over will teach you to value orientated, because you understand that valuations can be annihilated overnight.
A lot of people who got in over the last 10 years or so are stuck in perma-bull mode, because in their experience stocks only went up. They will hold their bags right down to the ground and all theirs years of investing will be wiped out. Crypto investors suffer from this problem as well

if anything, it's woken me up to pay a lot more attention to what world governments and central banks/FED are doing. i've seen a lot of what now appear to be obvious moves in the markets over the past year that seem like they'd be easy to take advantage of if you just were paying attention to that. like, the indicators on a chart don't really matter, indicators like the VIX and CPI and current events matter. like that time China decided to fix coal prices, even if you got in a little late you could have easily profited from that. or when the Fed raised rates by .75 basis points and everything went to shit because of inflation running so hot. now all i can think of is "damn, i should have known", but oh well what can you do.

i know now, though, at least. unfortunately my money's stuck until things turn around in a couple of years but at i can wait, i have a good job with good job security (it's a boring job no one wants to do but it's necessary so they pay me well and they'll never fire me. i like the solitude and being able to listen to music and podcasts and audiobooks all day while i do it, though). think im just gonna ride out the recesssion, continue to educate myself on current events and how they affect the market. just feels bad because biden is gonna be president for at least 2 more years and who knows if they're gonna rig the midterm elections or not this time around. really praying for a red wave to shut biden down for the next 2 years at the very least and then a republican president to actually fix the economy and get rid of this green energy shit during this crisis and actually show strength abroad instead of weakness, but man, 2 years feels like an eternity right now.

honestly part of me thinks i shouldn't even bother DCA'ing and i should just wait for the ukraine war to end and for whenever the Fed starts lowering rates again instead of raising them, and for inflation to start going down. those are all probably pretty solid indicators.
