Probably a mixture of society and him hurting himself, but who can really say? He (and others like him) spews vitriol and negativity in the hopes that they can get a shred of attention in the form a (you). It really is heartbreaking how isolated and hurting so many young men are these days. I feel sorry for them.

i think a coin with bobo on one side and mumu on the other would be best. you could flip it to make a trading decision. idk how you would gild it though, since mumu could easily be gilded but bobo is brown.
you can do a similar one for hawk vs swan, and a standalone for crab; one side has a crab in picrel pose, the other has him as an actual crab.

Living in Germany, most of the silver I can find in the wild is from the Dritte Reich. I don't even try to find them, but that's what's around. When I do find regular Konigreich Mark, silver Deutsche Mark, or new silver commemorative Euros, I buy them just to pad my collection so my wife's mom doesn't think I'm intentionally trying to horde 3rd Reich stuff.

It's really bizarre and I wonder why it's the case. There were definitely more silver 5 DMs in circulation than 5 RMs. It has to be some combination of people not selling DMs because they don't even know their value, and people selling RMs more because they think there will be more interest in them than the DMs. The old Konigreich Mark are less available probably because there were just fewer of them made and they're much older.

Based. I'm waiting on the bank to call me back so I can snag $50 worth of pennies to sort. Anyone who believes in PMs and who enjoys stacking should be acquiring copper coins as well. It's a cheap way to enjoy the hobby without spending all of your money. I have more copper than I can carry and just consider it a part of my long-long term savings. Similar to how people tie up money in a savings bond or A CD, I choose to keep it stored in commodity form.
After seeing the metal prices of Nickel and Zinc pop off 5x, I think we can see the writing on the wall for all metals. My PM spreadsheet I keep a forecast of 5x & 10x on my pounds of metal just to get an idea of how much purchasing power this shit could command once economic turmoil sets in.
Money is about being able to transact with others for the goods you need/want. It's supposed to be a valuable asset, not a liability/debt unit. Banks have distorted money and treat it more like a switch board with buttons and levers and bells and whistles so they can manipulate the economy as a whole. It's a grand, failed experiment. Realizing this and stepping back from the madness is the only way to save yourself. $100TN in unfunded liabilities is the exhaust-pollution coming from this monster. It's lethal.

What kind of table lighter do /pmg/ chuds use? Also, this doesn't look 24k at all. Maybe 16k. Gold shouldn't ever get tarnished and corroded like that I thought.

Lol wut? He says right in the description that he's plating it with 24k gold after cleaning it. The piece appears to be diecast zinc plated with copper.

I don't spend mine when I get them, but I do not bother hoarding them, as $100 boxes are better spent elsewhere in a more liquid form such as gold or silver imo.
One thing about coinage, is that after a paper currency dies, coinage is too expensive to create a new version so it often just transfers over to whatever replaces it. So there are some interesting aspects to it worth considering, but I am not sure it is worth it. Pennies are such a tiny amount of money that I think you get more bang for your buck than nickels. And as inflation rages, the legality of melting down pennies will change LONG before you can ever melt down nickels.

Per-1981 Canadian nickels are .999 fine nickel and worth $0.10 right now, US nickels are a cupronickel alloy and only worth $0.0507. Stack the leaf ones when you can find them but don’t bother with American nickels

Found an boot fair on the way home
And stopped for a look. Picked up some cutlery with hallmarks but after getting home and checking it all I’m 99% sure it’s all EP NC plated stuff.

So used it for eating a curry. Only cost £4 for 20 or so assorted. I’ll probs keep it despite it being useless.

I did get about 100grams of 925 rings and necklaces too.

The same overall considerations hold true for nickels:

I realize most penny stackers do it for relaxation or to create art, but for those who are stacking for profit here's how that will go...
A pre-1982 penny is 95% Cu and 5% Zn.
At the current price of $4.43/lb for Cu, a 3.11 gram penny is worth 2.88 cents.
Wow! Three times the return on your investment!
So let's get "rich" - say, end up with $1,000 in Cu?
You would need 34,690 pennies, weighing 107.89 kg.
So for every 237.9 lbs of pennies you clear $694 in profit.

Going to sell them on ebay? They take 12% (or 13% now?) of the sale price. So $611 in profit.
Unless it's pickup, you're going to have to ship it. Somebody is going to pay that. If you charge for shipping, buyers will want a lower price for the pennies. If you pay shipping, that mass will quickly eat what's left.

Going to melt it yourself? You kind of have to - a Commercial company won't do it for you. It's illegal, and they have better things to do than risk their business and freedom for the sake of pandering to a little boy's dreams.
>makeitfrommetal.com/is-it-illegal-to-melt-destroy-us-pennies-and-other-coins/
The bars you create will return the most profit. But you need to buy or make the furnace, fuel, molds, handling equipment, and have the time and space to work with the stuff.

Biggest rugpull in the metal stacking community. Gasoline cars are on the downward trend so less platinum will be used for catalysts.

I think platinum jewelry is really cool but the future decline of gasoline and diesel cars will result in less platinum being used by industry. Less demand means that the prices will be pushed downwards.

Before the pandemic, you could get ASEs or Maples at <10% premium. Now they're 80% premium. That's too high. Even in 2021 you could get 10oz silver bars for 8% premium now it's 20%+. That's too high.

Uh huh.
Went for a drive in my neighbor's Tesla. It was wild. 0-60 in under 4 seconds. He routinely drives over the mountain pass (5k ft) on business, and although he could push the whole trip (250 miles) in one go, he does stop halfway at a Tesla station (you know these exist?) to be safe. 30 minutes later (they serve coffee, have wifi... time for the break goes quickly) he was off to complete the trip. Charged at the hotel overnight, came back same routine. Total cost: $14. He charges at home, sees his home electric go up $30/month.
It's coming. you're being broadsided and don't know it.
