fuck yes it does. there are literally Fortune 500 companies investing billions of dollar into the Web3 space right now
HBAR foundation alone is already working with companies like Google, IBM and Boeing to help the get integrated into the Web3 space

You really think that all of these companies and major institutions are risking billions of dollar in a market with no future?

All of crypto will eventually end up to $0. However it will take a few cycles to get there.

Saudis need to get rugged. Retirees need to get rugged. Still plenty of fools out there that need to lose their money. Then, the regulations will kick in and crypto will fall.. probably in about 8 years.

2025 will be your last shot making it. Highly recommend you cash out and diversify into stocks etc.

Crypto-anarchism or cyberanarchism[1] is a political ideology focusing on protection of privacy, political freedom, and economic freedom, the adherents of which use cryptographic software for confidentiality and security while sending and receiving information over computer networks.[2][3] In his 1988 "Crypto Anarchist Manifesto", Timothy C. May introduced the basic principles of crypto-anarchism, encrypted exchanges ensuring total anonymity, total freedom of speech, and total freedom to trade.[4]

Crypto is the only way to create scarce digital information, most important being money. This is huge and it can be expanded to a full financial system and beyond with smart contracts. Compare companies/institutions doing stuff currently to possibly crypto protocols doing them in the future:
No bloodsucking fees from companies/banks/intermediaries because a protocol does it more efficiently and seeks less/no profits.
No censoring/canceling/discrimination because everyone with an internet connection can use the open protocol equally. Even software with no human/company behind it can do transactions and own stuff.
The code has all the control and power and is immutable. The network can't be killed because it's decentralized. You can create new monetary policies with this that are separated from the government/meatspace.
Less bureaucracy. Saves people's time and energy. No more calling to the customer support to fix a stuck international money transfer because it got autoflagged as suspicious. The code just executes.
More privacy (depends on implementation, but at least pseudonymous).
Option for more transparency. E.g. see where every penny of tax money goes, reducing corruption.
More interconnected. Because dapps are open and free, they are connected to each other and can read/write with other dapps. This creates new interesting dapps/webs of dapps where data is shared.
Full ownership and control with cryptography. Even better than physical ownership because it's harder to confiscate.
etc. etc. these are just from the top of my head. Most of crypto has turned into scams and semi-scams, or in general just making money, while forgetting the actual tech what makes crypto valuable. Crypto is exactly what Nick Szabo explained in his 1997 paper The God Protocols. Go read it and think why people thought about this 25 years ago. https://nakamotoinstitute.org/the-god-protocols/

Some politician with influence is willing to make a deal, you just have to have what they want, sometimes that's money.
Like I said it's getting more difficult, their prices are getting so high that money doesn't buy them as often anymore. If you've got politicians that can print themselves unlimited money like Xi or high echelon USA politicians then forget about it.

But you need to get the legislators on your side because a day of reckoning will come and if you haven't bought law makers they'll outlaw you.
