Honestly? 10 Million is my make it money. I’m a very simple man, don’t need toys, don’t mind waging if it’s for my business or working for a family member. I just want enough to have a safety net, reliable vehicle, and to be able to care for my parents and extended family. Maybe start a family myself. That’s always been the goal, despite all the trolling and bullshit, it’s always been that. But if I got really lucky, I’d like a silver anniversary vett like my dad had.

I can easy live off less than 40K a year and if I had my house paid off and a bit of land I would keep a garden and hunt reducing my costs further.
My dream is to buy a cabin in the woods in Maine and just live quietly off the grid in the woods for the rest of my life.

It's tough because there is stuff I want where I don't know how much it will cost. I'm slav nigger and I want to gtfo but the only real ways to do that are by establishing a business abroad. I don't want to go live in Thailand or something either I want to be in a warm white country.

After that I want enough to live modestly, I don't consume much stuff really, and to travel 3-4 times a year to see my international friends, which is all I spend money on now besides food and rent.

$3.5 million.
Put in a 'safe' index fund making around 7-9% a year.
Pull out 3% a year, so your principle money will always be increasing.
That means you have a passive income of greater than $100K/year (that will only go up as time goes on)
That is enough for a family to retire on.

my friend made 1.5 million so he

quit his job - refuses to ever work again - now has house ( 500k) and cash / remaining crypto - which has crashed so only another 500k max.

will he be alright? survive if the rest of his crypto maybe goes up? Is it ok for him to never work again? or is a fucking idiot for not continuing on his average 80k a year stressfull cuckjob?

>> No.50359851

About 5-8 mil is what I'm aiming for.
That would give me enough passive income to throw into further riskier investments and I could take a nice amount out on top of that every year.
Would also allow me to buy a very nice house.

>> No.50360167

>>50351873
1.3 million usd.
I'm from the UK. I would buy 1 house in a nice village near the coast, and a camper van in a town called Dwygyfylchi in North Wales. I would buy a nice Motorbike, a full new wardrobe, a small boat and give probably 200k to family and friends.
This would leave me with about half a mil, which I would stretch out over the next 40 years. I can hear the protestations now, 'you can't last 4 decades on half a mill US in the UK!' but I literally don't do anything. I need the internet and food, and I cook all my own shit. I could live for 4 decades on half that if I owned my own property.

No, he diversified those 1.5 mil very badly.
He should have put down a 20% deposit on a 250k max house and invest the rest in an index fund.
If he only bought BTC then he will be fine in the long-term though

No idea. I don’t ever want a family. I don’t need constant luxury but can have small luxuries from time to time. I want to be able to travel anywhere in the world at the top of a hat. I don’t care about flashy cars, clothes or jewellery. I want a decently sized “home base” with each room suited for my minimal needs (leisure, work, fitness and then the usual rooms) of which is highly secure and somewhat isolated but not too far from a big city, a maid and a chef. I don’t know how much I’ll need.

>> No.50360824

20k.
20k as an american is what I need and what I'd be content with, hell even 15k would be a start.
Being greedy only makes life fold into itself, having to struggle and make it is what creates diamonds, so 15-20k to start and I could earn the enough to be content in life.

>inb4 just save your wages
When you live alone there's no such thing as "saving wages" 98% of my income is used mostly on bills.
