Much of Europe’s debt woes are caused by pensions. If they were to be cut it would greatly alleviate the economic hardship on the young.

Why do the boomers have such an iron fist over the young and why don’t they fight back?

Because the EU government likes an overbearing ponzi scheme pyramid setup across the entire economy, especially the so called "essential" services as it expands the state and it's power over the people.

It's the reason they are the land of "free" gibs yet their services always run at a deficit. The NHS for example, is broke. And the reason is essentially the same reason some medicines in America can end up costing millions of dollars. Because the government will allocate some resources to buy that medicine, no matter how absurd and non-sensical big farms makes the prices for those meds. Which leads to shortages at times or a massive deficit that will require more control in the form of taxation over your life. And even if it ran at 100% taxation, meaning you'd be a slave to the government, it still wouldn't be enough money.

because old people have first hand experience in how ruthless, cut-throat, demented, and downright-sociopathic, other people and especially their own goverment is. To give up anything to this hoarde of villainy is to throw pearls before swine. They would find some way to leverage that capital into an even worse outcome. you can count on it.

German here, I have absolutely zero confidence in our pension system and I'm convinced I will never see a single penny from it. So the faster they just cut that shit, the faster we can get it over with. The boomer ponzi needs to go.

Pensions wouldn't be much of a problem if people kept fucking and having children and replacement levels. But they aren't.

Well, the current glut of boomers retiring is something bound to happen after a demographic shift, meaning that we just have to sit it out. After all the boomerfags finally die, and the younger population isn't as financially strapped anymore, they will have more children again. It's not like people stop having kids because they don't like having a family, it's all demographics

He doesn't know that in Italy for example baby boomers had their aging pension lowered at 40 years old in the so called baby pension (I personally knew two of them one raking 4k a month since the 70 and one raking 1.2k a month ) and now their are giving away literally free money to the slave class (reddito di cittadinanza/welfare) and Italy Is only the last nation doing this while France and north country are doing this since years

this is the biggest "its over" map chart in existence but its goes over brainlets heads. The fact remains that demographic collapse is by far worst problem continent faces and yet our leaders will constantly talk about anything and everything else ("green" transition, equality, feminism, integration of migrants, war in ukraine...).

The truth is you are already in one. Its just slow decline going on for decades where society keeps getting poorer, less safe and more unstable both politically and economically. Rome wasnt build in a day but it didnt fall in a day eiter.
Another common sentiment I see online is >>50347090, basically that old will die and that will free up younger people. However even if their might be less old people in terms of absolute numbers the ratio between young:old just keeps getting more abysmal over time (as seen in map I posted), since each generation has less kids.
A lot of people expect some sort of revolution since the problem is unsolvable because of several reasons (one of them being that old people are the most important voting block and just keep getting larger proportionally), but I am doubtful, also revolution is usually started by large mass of young people, which simply isnt there.
